A wonderful property in a great location for exploring Willemstad and the rest of the Island.

room was very comfortable, staff very friendly, food good and we really enjoyed the newly created beach and sea opportunities that was in the past not available (to go directly into the sea from the hotel)

Our room was situated quite close to the street which was sometimes quite noisy in the morning when traffic started to come alive.

The friendly staff, the location by a beautiful sea cove and the beautiful building.

It felt expensive for a 3-stars hotel and no breakfast included.

Location is perfect: in the pretty Pietermaai district with lots of restaurants around, colorful houses and then two pools plus ocean access- we liked it a lot. The little kitchen had everything we needed. We had some issues with the safe and the TV during our stay but the staff wad always quick to take care of it.

Could have been a bit cleaner (it fits very dusty due to street debris) and if you are noise sensitive, bring earplugs for sleeping (we did, so no issues :)). 2

Locatie is geweldig, sinds ze een strandje hebben aangelegd kun je ook in zee zwemmen. Restaurant De Heeren is leuk erbij.

Interieur begint een beetje te verouderen, maar nog steeds goed genoeg. Parkeerplek vinden kan lastig zijn, zeker in de avond.

Loved the historic look/feel. The oceanview terrace suite was nice, but other rooms are just not worth the price. Cleanliness was passable - floors were only cleaned once in our almost 2 week stay and you clean the dishes yourself. Warning there are a lot of stairs if you do not want a room in the busy bottom floor with restaurant traffic. I am particularly upset about the false advertisement on their website, please see attached "Special" still listed on their website 3 months after I brought it to their attention. There is NO free massage or transfer, they are both run by independent businesses (waited 1.5 hrs at airport for more guests too), that do not know anything about the promotion. Staff gave me the run around, finally saying they didn't know about the promotion and to wait for the manager who never materialized. Waited a lot at reception for staff that was sitting chatting on the back. The pools are way too cold and unclean, my husband was the only one to enough to try it once during our stay, everyone else avoided it. The little cove of sea is very popular as it is the only place to swim in a long stretch so it is used mostly by guests at other hotels which fill the recliners. The hotel has only a few recliners itself (and with no shade or umbrellas), mostly being the restaurant's (also not affiliated to the hotel (and with lackluster food). You need to consume to be able to use them and they fill very fast. Overall, I cannot recommend. You are paying for the exterior of the hotel and the location, wanted to love it but would never go back.

We loved our stay at Scuba Lodge! The location of the historic Scuba Lodge is in Pietermaai which has amazing fruit loop coloured architecture that includes shops and many restaurants. It is also a short walk to the heart of Willemstad. Our room was perfect with a kitchenette and a lovely balcony. It was quiet at night for sleeping and easily cooled with just the fan. Our room was tidied each day and it was nice to come back to a clean room. The hotel grounds were immaculate and we loved the coved beach and the infinity pool. The sunsets were lovely to watch from the beach front. Also, the staff at Scuba Lodge were friendly and helpful! We found compared to other hotels in the area that the Scuba Lodge was good value for you money.
