Scuba Lodge & Ocean Suites

My 14 year old daughter and I spent a week there in February (12-19). We had a very spacious 2BD suite overlooking the ocean. We were just steps away from the pool and the ocean. Kitchen was well equipped (we did not cook) and coffee pods were replenished daily. A hand written welcome note and a bottle of wine greeted us upon arrival to our room. Maid service was daily and the room was very clean. Location is terrific, close to many fine restaurants and a short 10 minute walk in to Willemstad. As it is a high end resort, the fellow guests were well behaved and polite. Several families with young children were guests as well. Several of the windows and door only have shutters, which means there is noise coming through. When there is music playing at night from nearby establishments it can be noisy although the bedrooms have windows to dampen the noise (better, not perfect). The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant associated with the hotel which was not memorable (neither the food nor the service) and many better food options are within a few minutes (steps) from the resort. About 200 meters west of the resort there is construction. Not minor. Giant machinery digging in to the ocean floor. It is awful. Disruptive, headache inducing. We went diving 4 of the 7 days and were gone from 8am - 2pm. When we returned they were done for the day. They also took the weekends off. This construction would not only affect Scuba lodge, but all the adjacent beach resorts. While not the fault of Scuba lodge or any of the other resorts, I would be hard pressed to recommend the area during the construction. Yes, it’s that bad. Without the construction, this place would be easy to recommend.

Charming boutique hotel in a great location, right on the water’s edge, 10 minute walk to Willemstad and a huge selection of restaurants. Booked last minute so got a standard room which was bright, clean and comfy. We shall definitely return.

Love Scuba Lodge! The rooms are clean and nice, the location at the ocean ( what a view!) near mambo beach and the famous pontjesbrug perfect but what i really love is the authenticity . The staff is so nice , so sincere. Miss it already!

Scuba lodge is a very special place, the staff are so friendly & helpful. A spit lets you swim protected in the sea and its own little pool on the beach. Chilled vibe right on the ocean with beach and a very tasty restaurant. We stayed twice on our trip to Curaçao in an Ocean room and a suite - truly amazing we hope to come back soon

This hotel is simply wonderful ! Staff are full of The Punda Vibes ! Life is a joy ! Great location - by the Coast - yet in the middle of City life .
