Scuba Lodge & Ocean Suites

We'd spent eleven nights at the Scuba Lodge in October 2025 and felt right at home. We very much enjoyed the super friendly hotel staff, our comfortable and spacious superior room and the amenities offered by the hotel in it's unique historic buildings. We relaxed on the deck chairs at the pool and the sea access area, there are plenty of fish to admire snorkeling inside and outside the wave barrier. The location within Pietermaai district and the vicinity to Nieuw Straat with hospitable bars and good restaurants and the close city centre are super convient. Though there isn't any need to go far because the De Heeren @ Sea restaurant on the premises is excellent, offering a wide range of tasty snacks and meals throughout the day, superb dinner and refreshing drinks and cocktails. We've had a rental car for most of the time and always found a free parking space close to the hotel. The only improvement I'd suggest is that the room descriptions in regard to the different categories had been a bit confusing to us as. The very friendly and caring hotel team ensured that we had a perfect and memorable stay at the Scuba Lodge. We will definitely consider the hotel again for our next visit on the beautiful island of Curacao.

We arrived after midnight and security guard met us and helped us to our room. Clean, spacious, comfortable room with kitchenette and eating area. Walking distance to eateries and sight seeing areas. Two pools and while it doesn't advertise ability to swim in the sea, there is a ladder to the sea for swimming and snorkeling. Beautiful areas to sit and lounge and watch the sea or just relax in the beautiful gardens. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic, accommodating experience! Front desk was ALWAYS on top of things, and it was a really nice perk to have them arrange for a car for me as I could easily add it to the reservation. I was able to walk right to the dive shop plus restaurants, shops, and the walking bridge, and enjoyed both pools. I did receive an extra late check-out for reserving directly through the Lodge. The restaurant in back had delicious food, and it was right on the beach and snorkeling area. Totally recommend.

Great stay in a beautiful building and setting. The building definitely gives the WOW factor. Location is excellent, lots of nearby restaurants in walking distance and not too far from Mambo beach. We had a two bedroom room with balcony. The room had everything and very clean. The pool was lovely and steps into the sea. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent and food quality very good. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

A localização do hotel é excelente, fica próximo do centrinho e de bons restaurantes. Tem uma praia privativa na parte de trás do hotel além de uma boa piscina. O restaurante anexo ao hotel é bom e fica aberto até tarde, bem conveniente. O staff sempre super prestativo e solicito. Ficamos no quarto "Executive Mansion" e o ambiente era agradável, tranquilo e bem silencioso. O banheiro é bom, com super chuveiro que funciona bem. As camas são confortaveis e o ar condicionado funcionava bem. A mini cozinha também muito funcional. As toalhas foram trocadas quase todos os dias.

Achamos que faltou uma limpezinha geral, pois ambiente de praia suja muito. Um ponto de melhoria fica para o corredor da janela, pois ficam algumas lixeiras e toda hora o pessoal do restaurante ao lado joga algo e faz mt barulho, além de conversarem bem na janela. Não desagradou, mas merece atenção da administração.

Limpeza, localização excelente, piscina muito boa para aproveitar o final do dia, toalhas liberadas para uso na praia. Cozinha completa dentro do quarto. Camareira todos os dias.

Nao tem estacionamento, mas na baixa temporada não foi um problema.
