"Good hotel for the price"

6.0

I was happy with this hotel considering the price we paid. The room and bath room were a decent size and clean. There was a kettle in the room but no cups which didn’t bother me as I don’t drink tea or coffee but may well be an annoyance to others. They were renovating some of the hotel but we couldn’t hear any noise from our room. Probably because we couldn’t have been further away from anywhere!! There were a lot of stairs between our rooms and Reception (over 100) and no lifts that we saw so could be an issue depending on people’s health. When we arrived and departed though we were driven to our rooms with all our bags (we were a party of 8 adults all with hand luggage and a suitcase each). The man that was serving at the Pool bar was a credit to the hotel and couldn’t do enough for you and always had a smile on his face. Also everyone we encountered on Reception was very friendly. I looked at the breakfast once and found it wasn’t to my taste as the selection was small and a mix of Western an Asian with the eggs certainly looking past their best! The only complaint I really have is that after our room was cleaned on one day the door was left wide open by the chambermaid, as we were the last room it wasn’t an issue and nothing was stolen and I hope this was just a one off and not something that happens regularly.

"A lot of Steps!"

8.0

We stayed here as a group of four couples for a few nights a couple of weeks ago. Our rooms were the furthest ones away from the reception with 136 stairs to deal with! Luckily on arrival and departure they were kind enough t take us as close to our rooms as they could by minibus, only leaving us with two flights to manage! The rooms were fine and were well equipped, always good to have a fridge and even better when 2 bottles of water are provided every day. Some of the views from the terrace were pretty impressive. Reception allowed us to check in and access our rooms early...and arranged a trip to the tiger kingdom for us all that afternoon. Despite songkran they also arranged elephant trekking and a boat trip for some of us. The main pool was a lovely area and I can't recommend the delightful barman who looked after us all afternoon and evening highly enough. He was brilliant...nothing was too much trouble for him and the beaming smile never left his face once. He clearly makes the best gin and tonics in Patong! This place is excellent value for money, clean and has helpful staff...what more can you ask for at the prices they're charging

"Not how it looks online"

6.0

We came here for 13 nights as a group of 8. When were shown to our rooms we were in shock. The rooms were located next to a small pool but we're very dark. The. Bathroom was extremely dated and mouldy. There were damp patches on the walls and insects everywhere. I know that Thailand has creepy craw lies but when giant ants are crawling across your bed it's not on!! Hardly slept on the first night and the following morning my step mother ( who is Thai) went and complained to the staff. She told them that we were leaving as the accommodation was discusting. We were offered new rooms which the men of the group checked out and agreed to accept. These were upgrades and were free of charge. Where got to the room we were really surprised. It was like it was a completely different hotel. The room was huge and had massive sliding doors with a balcony facing the beach. The bathroom had a proper shower instead of a bath with a shower and no mould. We had a flat screen television instead of a huge old style one, lots of channels, a kettle, a safe........what a lovely change. Don't get me wrong this is not a 5* hotel but the difference when we were 'upgraded' was amazing. Beware of the breakfast. You have to pay for it and it's pretty grim!! Cold cabbage and spaghetti bolognse to name just a few. We went to a local shop and brought some bowls and had cereal in our room. We had lunch by the pool twice and the food was old. Don't order here though if your really hungry because the service was slow. All in all a nice hotel ( in the end) and an enjoyable time in patong. I don't know how helpful the reception staff would have been if my step mother wasn't there. Communication was easier for us because she was Thai.

"Excellent Hotel"

10.0

Hotel is excellent. But the receptionist are not so good. Except that everything is very good. We stayed there 24 to 26th feb 2016. We booked it through Make my trip and we paid only Rs. 1250/- per night. I think in this budget no one can find better than this. Room was very specious with air conditioning and very clean.

"Good value for money"

8.0

The hotel is currently going through renovations (however no noise or construction was taking place while we were there). The facilities were basic but clean and comfortable, 2 great pools and nice pool bar. Taking into account the cost per night I would say fantastic value for money and great location. Would recommend to anyone travelling on a budget.

"Good Value for Money"

8.0

Although had a bad start as for some reason our rooms were not cleaned for a couple of days but the manager was very kind in offering an upgrade to the larger building instead of one of the smaller old bungalows in the complex. Although nicely situated away from the crazy party of Patong ,and its advisable to hire mbikes or take the free shuttle to town. Pool nice with additional free towels to take to the pool or beach and breakfast buffet was adequate which we paid for at a reasonable price most mornings. Remember as with all marketing pics from hotels , they were taken awhile ago so we didnt expect the hotel to be new but quite adequate . Patong is actually quite a nice beach but would recommend if you have a mbike to ride along the coastal roads to visit some of the other resorts which are all fairly close as we picked Patong as its quite central for our purposes and generally cheaper and would consider booking here again
