Basic room but clean. Good location. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff.

The mountain view, was a window out the back overlooking the car park and Keswick roofs with the hills beyond. Granted it told me whether the clouds were obscuring the hilltops but hardly spectacular. Having sold the room as having a mountain view I'd expected better. Washbasin is so small and shallow that it was impossible to get my waterbottle under the tap to fill it, plus cleaning my teeth I couldn't get my head over the basin without headbutting the mirror. I could hear pipes clunk when people in other rooms turned off their taps.

This is one place we will go back to! My mom and I had a wonderful time there interacting with the helpful staff and taking wonderful walks aroung the lake area and Keswick village. A true heavenly experience that I would recommend to anyone who "needs to get away!"

The breakfast was fantastic and the location near the lake with a mountain view was amazing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming with great advice.

Maybe some hooks on the doors for coats a couple of pictures on the walls would help and a bigger bowl sink lose the cupboard underneath. Really thats nitpicking

The location is perfect

The rooms were comfortable BUT very basic which isn’t necessarily a bad thing and parking was a bit difficult too

From check in to leaving staff were fantastic. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Would stay again.
