Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Lake Charles at I-210 Exit 11

I did not feel safe at this hotel.

No Breakfast. Room was miss pices of the dresser. the staff was rude. and it is 2 twin beds not king.

Free WIFI was advertised and was not able to connect. Called front desk and they were no help.

Lady that checked us in was very rude and didn't smile acted like we were going to destroy the place.

Hotel in very bad shape. Dead bolt does did not work. Hair dryer broken did not work. Sheets had holes in them. Pool was a non-useable. It was filthy and not operational at all. Was rated on-line as a "3" hotel and was not even a "1". Worst hotel I ever stayed at in my 65 years.

The staff was courteous and professional. The room did not look like nothing that I seen online but it was very clean

The man working the desk offered to be my "company" for the night if my boyfriend did not make it there after work! I was extremely uncomfortable. He meet me by the stairs going to the room and was very awkward. The whole place looks ratty and run down. Its also very dark outside!! The room was gross. There was an old poofy red chair that was covered in nasty looking stains. Lord only knows what happened in that thing! I sat on the bed and tiny roaches ran out from under the pillows. I called my boyfriend told him the issue with the guy at the front desk and the bugs. I stayed on the phone with him to go get in my car and left. I did not even stop at the front desk because of how creepy the worker maid me feel. We then booked another room for the night in Sulphur, La at Super 8. It wasn't much better but there was no bugs!!! Oh and the pool is disgusting green with stuff growing above the water.

Had $1200 worth of equipment stolen from my work truck while staying here and when I went to the front desk about it she said”sorry we can not help you we are not responsible” I said okay well can we see your cameras(which I purposefully parked by) so when can file a police report. She said THEY DONT WORK. Says that they don’t rewind so there for these cameras are WORTHLESS. In my option that is very unprofessional and will not be staying here again!

the staff was WONDERFUL! Unfortunately, as far as the hotel, you get what you pay for :( (prices in Lake Charles are WAY high, since the hurricane)

Pool had black and green water and trash floating sticky floors ice machine broken forgot key in room asked for another key and wasn’t even questioned for ID Or name poor security I know last minute reservations are expensive but not 340 a night I will never even consider this place again
