Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Lake Charles at I-210 Exit 11

The hotel is a dire need of work. The pool area is full of trash..the pool water is green in color with trash in it. It looks like it hasnt been cleaned in over a month. The restroom door was broken. The tub area had hair from a previous customer.

Furniture/Fixtures in poor condition, no coffee pot.

This hotel is disgusting. False advertising. Online pics look absolutely nothing like the hotel. Pool had nasty disgusting water in it. Was told it would be operating within 2 days. Still wasn’t when we left. Room was gross. Lobby was closed, no breakfast, no nothing.

The pool was brown and green had trash in it and it had a bad ordor. the room had pieces of wood missing from dresser and the icebox was old and had rust on it and the bathroom had black stains around tbe tub and I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone.

This place needs extreme attention! Pool green with trash. Took the room half the night to cool down. Only one person, on duty and she is still asleep this morning after 8 and with NO coffee I am pissed. I'll be calling several people about this crap.

AWFUL!!!! Please, for the love of all things, go somewhere else. The lobby is completely closed, you check in through the night window. No info given by the clerk- about anything except my room location. I’m guessing breakfast isn’t an option seeing how the lobby is CLOSED! The steps near the pool are falling apart at the top (trip hazard)! Then there’s the pool- which looks like a slime experiment gone wrong- green with stuff floating in it! The room smells like sweat...nasty! The stove is shattered. The air conditioning was not on when we got here, so it was near 80 degrees when we checked in. Two towels for a 4 person room to shower with. Half a roll of toilet paper, with no extra roll. I’ve stayed in some sketchy motels in my time but this one is definitely in the top 10. I would go elsewhere, but they already drafted my account and my kids are tired from being in the car for 10 hours.

The room was great, the only problem was rooms were ready at 2:00pm supposedly, we got there at 3:00 and were told our room wouldn’t be ready for 20 to 30 minutes.

No tags to put on the door to keep housekeeping out. House keepers look as if they are homeless and on something. Will not be going back. Housekeeper opened the door even after we said we didn't need housekeeping. The pool has black water and trash in it. We saw it the next morning. The stairs are broken. Can't believe their still in business.
