The drawers had tape on them to keep them close , trip hazard on the back stair case . The first room was horrible , and the second one was a little bit better.

My trip was not like I expected to be My room was way different from the pics It was not clean dirty shirt hanging on bathroom door. Recliner was oily dirty looking this trip was not like it was supposed to be at all

The place is dirty and not decent at all, the price was expensive, we could it complete one night in this place and checked out the next morning, they agreed to refund us the money of the remaining nights but they didn’t

The motel itself looked to be in decent condition. Lake Charles was hit by two hurricanes this year and that did take their toll. The stairway was held up with supports and was separated from the main walkway (picture below). The room, however, was not damaged by a hurricane but by someone. The beds appeared clean and the bathrooms were relatively clean as well. However, that's where the positives stop. The lamp on the table was completely rusted and the shade was damaged. The phone was dead unless the cord was placed in just the right way. We did receive a call from the "front desk" at 2:30am, stating that there was a problem with our credit card, however that was a scam most likely unrelated to the hotel. The most concerning part was not the stains on the carpet, the loud yelling and frequent comings and goings from other occupants, or the mildew smell from the air conditioning. It was the completely shattered stovetop that had not been repaired or removed. It appears as though someone smashed something through it and no one bothered to clean it up. Completely unsafe. We are very glad that we only stayed one night.

To sum it up they gave me a candle and said they were to cheap to put a bulb in the bathroom so wont be going back there
