Wildwood Snowmass

Awful experience that other guests had. Showed up to check into the hotel at 10PM and no one was at the front desk. The number didnt work. Took 1h for someone to show up to check us in. Got into our room and our sheets were dirty. No soap. No toilet paper. One guest was stranded at the airport and didnt get picked up. Others didnt have their rooms ready till 9pm. Others couldnt check in. Attitude for the evening shift was awful. Management didnt care.

Honestly was really disappointed in the condition of our room. Stains all over the furniture, door wouldn’t completely close, bathroom smelled. Just a bit of a bummer but the staff was so kind and wonderful. They even let us check in early!

This might be an ok option if you're looking for a dirty hostel-like setting, but it was borderline disgusting and not anywhere close to worth the price. Love Snowmass, have been here many times, would never stay here again. I traveled with my 9-year old son for a quick ski trip. PRO: good location, great airport shuttle service via the Viewline (sister property), friendly and helpful front desk staff. CONs: rooms was filthy when we arrived - like literal dirt in the tub. No housekeeping for the 4 days we stayed there, ran out of toilet paper. radiator in our room broken so constant banging/clinking. Walls are paper thin and the rooms on either side of us were overflowing with folks who stayed up all night partying -- don't begrudge them their fun, but we were awake all night every single night. No overnight desk staff so no way to lodge a complaint, and the walls are so thin that even if they had been speaking in normal voices, instead of blasting music and screaming, it would have sounded like they were in our room. Coffee maker in our room but no coffee and was told the hotel was out, so couldn't get any. Bottom line -- this is a bare BARE bones option, for those who aren't looking for cleanliness or quiet.

Unfortunately, we did a walk-in and were told that they couldn’t give us the standard price without going online. So I did and by the time I came back five minutes later saying that it would not connect that I had to leave a message at the reservations desk, they had given away the last room. They did eventually agree that they would open up another amazing room that theyhad said five minutes before that they didn’t have more than one room available. The lobby was extremely dirty. Both the carpet and the furniture were badly stained. It just did not look very warm or welcoming. The bedroom furniture was built out of plywood and nails with a mattress sitting on top of it and a pegboard painted white for the headboard. And rope pulls at the base of the bed to pull drawers out of the plywood frame of the bed. The hot water took five minutes to reach the faucets. We finally gave up and went to lunch decided that we needed to find elsewhere to stay.

Fine for a budget motel in Aspen/Snowmass. Location is excellent. Would not be surprised if they took a wrecking ball to this place and built something new. Lots of potential for a remodel or something like the new Grand Hyatt in Deer Valley.

Great stay

The property needs major renovations. Its old and dirty. The shuttle service is terrible. The rooms are not cleaned properly. Amenities are dismal. The photos published are decieving.

Close to slopes. Very dated rooms but ok for me. Half the price of Viewline. Women probably won’t care for it.

Old not very well maintained property. If just there to ski and sleep, it is fine. Do not expect any extras.

This property was run down and outdated for the price I paid. Floors were dirty. Deluxe room was a dump. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly. I do not recommend.
