Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection

Be warned - This resort is not Autograph Collection quality. This is more like a motel with a good location on the mountain. During our time there, the elevators were out of service, the carpets outside our room had an intense smell of vomit, then bleach, then vomit again. The restaurant had extremely slow service and a dirty buffet. The double queen room was tiny. The thermostat worked intermittently, and we had to open the window to control the temperature in the room. The spa is very basic, no amenities, not at all luxurious. We complained several times, and upon checking out, the manager said he understood that the hotel had not been operating well. He offered us a refund of 1/2 the points redeemed as partial payment of our stay. We agreed. He said we did not need to do anything else to receive our refund. Well, guess what, he did not follow through on that promise either. Now, Marriott says it never happened, and they refuse to honor their manager's promise. Even though I have Gold Elite status and have had Marriott points for 20 years, there is no resolution from Marriott. I recommend avoiding the Viewline and staying at the Limelight or the Viceroy instead. Those hotels were clean and well-staffed.

The rooms and beds are big, the wagyu hamburguer is wonderful and the driver Fabio was so nice with us! The hotel has a ski valet wich we love so much. And the hot pool is the best in the world! We hade an amazing time. The gym and the concert on friday were also incredible.

Fabio, Rodrigo, German and all the bar staff were great!! Polite and helpfull, always helping in any way possible, with great willingness. Hotel with good structure, and easy access to the lift. Good food and drink, and nice room. See you next season!!

Cesar was amazing very punctual and personable. Food was delicious. Andrew the manager came over and spoke to us charming man. Sorry, bartender came over to our table. Ask if we would like drinks. He made a delicious drink for one of our family members and delivered himself. It was a piece of artThis is our go to Apre ski place. Bar is incredibly beautiful.

Our stay at the Viewline in Snowmass was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was due to the incredible team who made us feel truly valued from start to finish. Rogger at valet greeted us with genuine warmth and efficiency—his friendly demeanor set a welcoming tone the moment we arrived. Vince from sales was outstanding—thoughtful, attentive, and clearly committed to making sure every aspect of our stay was just right. And Matt, the General Manager, sets the bar high. His leadership is reflected in the outstanding service and overall positive energy throughout the property. Thanks to this wonderful team, our trip was smooth, relaxing, and full of great memories. We can’t wait to return!
