Royal Son Bou Family Club

Staff were great on checkin and gave me all the information about the resort and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. 2 great pools that are warm. It’s very close to the sea which is warm, clear, has proper sand and you can see fish swimming near you. Great food choices to keep kids happy. They have cold water refil stations. Kids club is great it is hot there but there was shaded areas. They have a beach toy recycle which is a great idea to put your left over beach/pool toys for others to use. Staff right through to cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

We went as a 3 generation group, 11 of us with 5 kids. Could not fault the place, food and drink really good, entertainment good and loads to do for the kids if they want to join in, pool party was brilliant. Short walk to beach. Perfect. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are slightly dated but very clean and have all you need. Perfect place for family’s.

****Good Food was plentiful and decent quality. The shows were hilarious, albeit not always intentionally, they kept us entertained none the less. Kitchenette is useful. Receptionist at arrival was very cheerful and welcoming (man with grey hair). Kids entertainment man from Northern Spain was lovely. ****Bad -Rooms are extremely dated and the bathrooms mouldy. -There was a wet leak behind the chest of drawers that made them stink of damp and mould so we didn’t unpack our clothes. - skanky entitled people smoking by the wall as if this didn’t count as the hotel. -Huge family took over our entire block and had all their apartment doors open all the time to go between each others places. This meant there was shouting and screaming almost 24/7. No sound proofing at all. In fact the middle of the block’s are open so echo noise everywhere. -We only saw a mascot once at breakfast and once in the evening. At Yazia’s Kiko Land they all dance every night and come round every meal time. Very poor show at Son Bou. -Customer service is a waste of time. Whatsapp- why bother? Ask for an iron? They say go to reception. Ask to book at kids activity? They say go to Kikoland. So what’s the point of whatsapp?! -sunbed wars! Hard to get a sunbed as people hog them despite not using them. Towels are never removed. - towels. We were told they get changed each day, but this doesnt work as you have them with you during the day, not in the room! Cocktails and wine were undrinkable. Overall 3 star.

Great family hotel. Kids friendly facilities. Room extremely clean. Restaurants with good variety of food. Amazing beach only a few steps away. Only improvement would be to heat the swimming pool a little. We thought the water was a bit cold for our taste but still enjoyed the pool.

We've heard about Royal Son Bou from a family we've met last year in a different all inclusive resort in Menorca last year. They said the Kinderanimation is the best in Royal Son Bou. So out of curiousity I booked 3 nights in Royal Son Bou. It indeed is such as wonderful family resort. It has all the advantages for both young ones and adults. It's very easy to go to the lovely beach, shops and to a lovely beachfront bar. Food is absolutely well-prepared, good quality. And of course, our small man enjoyed the Kinderbetreuung. There is a big area for kids of all ages (Kikoland) as also for older kids which my son enjoyed. The Kinderbetreuer are all very attentive and qualified which is really a big advantage over our other resort. All staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly. The price is higher than our other resort but it's worth it. If I'm able to find a good promotion, I won't have any hesitation to book Royal for a longer period as it's really relaxing and enjoyable for both parents and kics.

This is our 6th year at the Royal Son Bou It never fails to disappoint. Once again we had a lovely time and it is so nice to be recognised by all the staff who make you feel so welcome. Special shout out for all the entertainers who do a wonderful job. We visited the Zoo this year and is definitely worth a visit. We were fortunate as it rained that day which is very rare but meant it wasn't too hot . The Kangaroos seemed confused as they had to shelter.. Plenty to see at the Zoo and I believe the hotel offer discounts for tickets. The prices are very reasonable . Family Rowe
