Always a good time at Secrets

A bit outdated compared to other Secrets we have been to but getting updated in spring so should be much better soon. Staff was great for the most part. Bryan with entertainment staff was awesome! Food was just ok. Buffet breakfast was good as usual. Sushi was great at Japanese steak house. Seafood place was just ok, Mahi a bit overcooked. Italian was good. Poolside was ok, but didn’t expect great. Shuttling to some restaurants and entertainment was a bit much, but unlike most of Secrets we went to. Overall 8.2/10

Staff friendly. We enjoyed entertainment staff, especially Bryan. The food options were good.

The staff was great but the property is falling apart

#### Arrival and Check-in Check-in was quick and easy, setting a positive tone for our stay. However, we didn't enjoy the sales pitch regarding the new Secrets property that followed shortly after. #### Room and Amenities Our Junior Suite was comfortable and impeccably clean, with a lovely partial view of the ocean that we enjoyed every morning. #### Dining Experience The dining options were wonderful, offering a variety of delicious meals that catered to all our tastes. We particularly enjoyed the different themed restaurants, each providing a unique dining experience. #### Activities and Entertainment The activities and entertainment were plentiful, with something for everyone to enjoy. From beach volleyball to evening shows, we were never bored. #### Beach and Pool The beach and pool areas were very nicely kept up, providing a beautiful and relaxing environment. There were always plenty of lounge chairs available, and the poolside service was exceptional. #### Service and Staff The service quality and staff members truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile. #### Overall Experience I would certainly recommend Secrets Playa Mujeres for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Despite the minor inconvenience at check-in, the overall experience was fantastic, and we left with wonderful memories.

My friends and I spent a few days at Secrets Playa Mujeres, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was extremely pleasant. Juan from the Barefoot Grill was awesome. He always made sure to say hello and chat when he saw me. The food was terrific, the highlight of the dining establishments was the Bordeaux restaurant (Mario is quite the character). The pool and beach areas were well maintained. The rooms were a bit dated, apparently they will be renovating the resort soon, which is a good idea. The doors to the back patio were tough to open, and there was some funky odors in certain areas, not a huge issue, but still something to note. Overall, I would rate this a 4.5 out of 5, but as a half star is not an option, I marked it down as a 4

Quite and peaceful

As a group of young couples (8) people we had a very pleasant time with our stay. I would say the best time is when they had group activities IE: volleyball, trivia. All of the staff that I felt with are excellent! Especially the three guys who hosted the volleyball throughout the week. The golf cart drivers are amazing and had great personalities I felt like the banter with the staff had really good chemistry. We had a swim out room and the resort does need some maintenance as we had air and water bubbles coming up from behind the drywall. Which I know I’ve read is happening this upcoming year. The food/drink options are phenomenal. Only thing on that is trying to reserve a spot at the hibachi grill was difficult and only half our group got the opportunity to attend it. But overall 9/10 on our stay. Thanks for a great trip and stay!

The staff and the incredible service is what keeps us coming back! Oscar/ Abraham at the swim up pool, Maria poolside service, Jaime working the pool area, Daniel in the preferred club too! I could go on and on with our service highlights. We can’t wait to go back.
