Dream lagoon Resort & Aqua Park

I have been to this hotel twice, I come here because there is some magical atmosphere that draws me here, I guess it's the people, for example Mr. Mohhamed Al-Tayeb who, with his behavior, created the best atmosphere, thank you for everything ❤️

I stayed at Dream Lagoon in July this year and overall I recommend the hotel, but it’s important to know that it’s not a true 5★, more like a solid 4★. Room: The rooms were clean and regularly serviced, but they could use some renovation. The air conditioning worked very well, however during showers the water sometimes disappeared, then returned very hot, which could be uncomfortable. Overall, the room left a positive impression – the furniture and equipment were fine and cleanliness was maintained daily. Food and restaurants: The main restaurant, Coral, was not very impressive – food was often repetitive and average in taste. The smaller Gardenia restaurant was much better, serving fresher and tastier dishes. The staff in the restaurants was very friendly and helpful, always attentive even when the hotel was busy. Resort and amenities: The gardens are beautiful, and the entire property is huge, almost massive – keep in mind that the beach is quite far from the main buildings, requiring a short walk. The pools are excellent, ranging from deep to shallow, so there’s something for everyone. The entertainment and animations were weak, but the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The lobby has air conditioning, but it is very weak, so it can be quite warm during the day. Beach and sea: The beach is amazing – sandy, wide, and beautiful. The sea gradually deepens, which is a big plus, and the views are really nice. The hotel is far from the airport, so the transfer takes quite a long time. If you can get this hotel at a good price, it’s definitely worth it, despite some drawbacks, as it has its own charm, beautiful gardens, a wonderful beach, and friendly staff.

First Time in Marsa Alam i found myself very comfortable in the resort everything and everyone was good especially the animation that was very inclusive and we had fun

This 5 star hotel has great potential, but its current state reveals several gaps that need attention, aside from the amazing and unique garden and access to the lagoon. • The food is the worst I have ever eaten in 24 years of travel to various hotels in Marsa Alam. Despite a wide range of choices, hot dishes that should be served hot are often undercooked or served cold. This is the biggest disappointment here. After 15 years of visiting Egypt, I stopped experiencing stomach problems from local hotel diners, and here I not only had issues again together with my six-person family, but staff informed us that more hotel guests suffered from the same problem during this period. Each of us needed a day to rest with stomach fever in bed. Despite great attention of the cook in the dining hall something is definitely not right in the process of food preparation. • Rooms look better in photos than in reality. The safe seems ancient; compared to a sarcophagus, it is no longer functional. Shower cabins work but are in poor condition and poorly maintained. Beds are as hard as the pillows provided, though personally I do not mind this. The room phone to reach reception appears to be non-functional and could be cleaned more regularly. • The location and infrastructure are positive attributes, connected to two other four-star hotels, with a lush green garden full of avenues and well-maintained grass and trees. The large lagoon is superb for snorkeling and windsurfing, with little interference between activities. However, one crucial element disrupts the concept — a Bedouin tent next to the beach that, after nightfall, blasts loud drums and bass into the valley shared by the three hotels. As a result, prime sea-view rooms suffer the most. The loudest guests can tolerate the noise until 1–2 a.m. for a few days, after which they relocate to the pool area or the second line of villas. This is irrationally prioritized over peaceful nights for guests willing to pay for a serene experience. • Staff seem overwhelmed on many occasions, failing to acknowledge or fulfill promises. The reception lacks basic guidance at check-in and only occasionally assists during urgent requests. With proper management, service delivery could be improved quickly. Overall, the leisure concept of this place is amazing, but execution is weak and inconsistent, undermining the guest experience and the expected comfort of a 4–5 star property.

The hotel is older, the facilities are very poor. The lights in the room didn't work, the air conditioning reported an error, the shower was in a very bad state! The food was a disaster, almost no meat, the fruit was still the same, unripe, the vegetables were dry. Very little choice and the food was the same every day. I have been to several hotels in Egypt, better and worse, and everywhere there was a large selection of food that changed every day, unfortunately not here. Staff: cleaning, gardens and service at the bars (reception, pool and beach) great. Waiters in the restaurants a big disappointment and unprofessional. During the meal they were able to move us and our one-year-old son to another table several times because the people who gave them tips didn't like sitting by the window and the like. They were also able to take our plates of food without us finishing them. When this happened repeatedly on the third day, I started yelling at them in the dining room. The only plus of the hotel is the beautiful gardens, the sea and the Bedouin tent on the beach where there is pleasant service and great drinks.

They rested in this hotel from September 23, 2025 to October 7, 2025, a lot of greenery, nice food, nice staff, very nice entertainment.

We are currently in the hotel and don't recommend. We arrived at midnight and it took two hours to check in (they took everyone together and made a 'trip' to each room (place is really big, there were children and old people), then we waited for luggage until past 2am - hungry, tired. Next day we asked for room change - the one we got was in bad shape & air condition was extremely loud making it hard to sleep. There is no air condition in restaurants, service is bad (dirty tables etc), people are working there as a punishment i believe, they are really unfriendly. BIG PLUS for outdoor greens - lots of trees, colorful plants and lovely alleys. Sea and beach are also beatiful, there ale lots of umbrellas and deck chairs, opposite to the pool - there are very little of them and always taken.
