It was exceptionally clean gleaming in fact so there is nothing to improve on
USWonderful historic hotel on the coast with a view of Downpatrick Head. The hotel has very nice public areas and our large room was immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Rolf was very attentive and even offered to prepare an evening meal since options are limited in the area.
USRolf, the owner, very friendly and easy to talk to. Beautiful sunroom to have a drink and see the ocean view.
GBUSUSRolf was very welcoming and helpful. The Stella Maris is situated beautifully on the coast-views are spectacular. Only breakfast and tea are served but we found a great restaurant in Kilala. Ballycastle is convenient to Achill Island and other day-trip locations. Such a relaxing place to stay.
I.really can't think of anything except, with our bathroom being small, more shelving for toiletries would have been nice.
