Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt bei der Küchenabluft.

Location and staff

Rooms were too hot could not turn heater down. Breakfast was cold and not worth the £250 that was paid for 1 night.

Location was good with a loch view. Hotel was clean. Room modern well decorated. The towels were kept in bedroom, no room in bathroom for towels, no towel rail which was a bit odd & no hook on door of bathroom to hang clothes.

Breakfast was shambolic. £18 per head. All I had was a shrivelled up sausage & half a tomato. There was no room for us in the breakfast room. I had to search for someone to ask where could we sit. I eventually found a member of staff who appeared to be rushing around but doing nothing, he told me to use the dining room. He didn't escort me to the dining room or make any effort to open the heavy dining room doors for us. It was almost impossible to push these heavy doors & carry a plate too. There were too many people in the breakfast dining area. The hotel should have operated a timed booking for breakfast. Everyone seemed to be there at the same time. There was no food left. I managed to get a yoghurt, last one. There was no fruit left. There was only one toast machine & it took 3 goes to toast the bread. Guests were milling around the food, there was no system, no politeness, no order & one guest asked for plates. I felt sorry for the female member of staff who seemed to be working alone, no sooner did she bring a dozen plates than they had gone. She just couldn't meet the demands of a full hotel all coming for breakfast at the same time. There was an instruction to ask a member of staff for eggs to be cooked to order. There was no staff to ask! Only one lady who was doing all she could as it was! There wasn't even any tea bags left. The hot water didn't work. She tried her best, emptied the machine & then it worked but the teapot provided didn't fit under the machine. She stayed & watched until teapot was full. Nightmare. £18 per head for a yoghurt & a sausage & half a tomato. Waste of money. Worst breakfast I ever had! The girl who booked us in was very pleasant as was the poor lady trying to help at breakfast but I found all the male staff to be surly & plain rude to their female colleagues & to enquiring guests.

- a narrow double bed with hot covers - I paid an exorbitant amount for a one night stay - messages and requests sent were not replied to

The staff were amazing, the restaurant has an amazing view and good food, rooms were clean and comfortable

Parking spaces were limited

The rooms were well decorated with comfortable beds

There was a strong smell of food coming from the vents in the shower. They also started construction works early in the morning and the corridor smelled from paint. We asked to change rooms but it was fully booked.

Nicely renovated and looks great.

Bed and mattress was hugely disappointing. I would hardly describe our room as a Mountain View. It looks on to a campsite full of campers. Dust on the laminate floors under bedside tables. Poor water power in the showers. Guests putting their dirty socks and shoes on radiators outside their rooms in the hall ways.
