The ambiance was amazing, with a little imagination you truly get a sense of what it was like to live in a castle. Patrick was truly great, his love and knowledge of the property was inspiring. What an asset to the property!

Fabulous castle and the most welcoming host. Patrick is an absolute marvel. The breakfast was exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. Absolutely loved it.

"Wonderful castle restoration with friendly staff"

Very friendly helpful staff, who went out if their way to make sure was a good stay-offered dto take photos before we left, a gesture which we appreciated greatly! Loved the historical introduction and tour on arrival. Very cool to be in a castle. stairway and main area beautiful. Beautifully restored and kept. Very comfy bed and good sleep. Good breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Bar open 8-10pm so didn't manage to make it back in time for an evening drink after our dinner reservation in nearby restaurant which we would have loved to do so worth bearing in mind or telling future guests so they are aware. Forgot to mention on check out that TV didn't work in aird room-connections failure? WiFi was weaker in top room. Didn't matter to us as only staying one night and enjoyed being in a castle so much! But I'm sure if we had said the staff would have helped.
