Beautiful grounds by the river

This property was fabulous. The house was a genuine old stone mansion, set in large parklands on the river Tay. The staff were exceptional, from the receptionist to the waiters. Very friendly and helpful. There was ample parking on site. I stayed in one of the riverfront rooms, which are in a separate building. Mine had a view of the beautiful river. While my room was a bit dated, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was very good, and the restaurant dinner was delicious and gourmet. This was the perfect accommodation for a peaceful and luxurious stay. I can’t wait to go back.

Very hot in the room at night time, heating was off but a very old building retaining heat meant it was very warm.

Excellent accommodation, stayed in the Lakeside Rooms, 5 ⭐️

The atmosphere in the hotel was very nice. The restaurant was superb. The garden is very beautiful.
