It is very convenient for the railway station and the beds were comfy.

We were asked to change our pre-booked 2 room apartment only to find it was a much smaller single room, upstairs, with only one easy chair and no table or chairs to eat a meal at, all for the same cost. The overhead cupboard containing crockery was impossible to reach without dragging either a small rather rickety side table or the easy chair to stand on.

noise from other residents, didn't like sharing kitchen facilities, would have preferred to be self contained.

The room was clean and had everything i needed for my stay, the beds were comfortable and had tea and coffee available.

Everything you could need in a studio apartment and great value for money.

I had a fairly decent stay here - for a start I paid half what I would have to stay 3 minutes walk away at the premier inn or the Holiday Inn express so I'm fairly happy. The location is excellent its what you're paying for - less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. There are plenty of places to eat, drink or get coffee within 10 minutes walk. It's probably 15 minutes to the cathedral or castle from here. I even got to park for free 3 out of 4 nights and there is a decent priced long stay car park about 10 minutes walk away up behind the train station. Be aware parking is first come first served - they have 4 spaces between 2 buildings with multiple apartments in each. The bathroom was decent enough, it has a little kitchenette. The wifi is pretty good - worked flawlessly and you can pull between 20-40m/bits a second down.

Obviously its budget accommodation - the mattresses have seen better days and are a little hard but overall I managed to sleep OK. Also given its self catering they need a table/desk and chair that are better matched. The one that is in there is a dressing table with an easy chair which is lower down, you can't really sit at it to eat a meal or do some work on your laptop its like neck height - just a little strange that is all.

Clean, all facilities as needed, felt very secure. Very clear communication during the booking process.

Fire exit sign is extremely bright and doesn't help sleeping, plus the fridge is loud, also a problem for a light sleeper! Hot water is scalding - needs a warning sign. The mattress on one bed was saggy, but as I only needed one, this wasn't an issue.
