Property Notes

Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID. The property will not accept expired licenses or passports. Billing information needs to be the same as the booking information. Full-service daily housekeeping is not available, except by special request. Housekeepers will remove trash and replace linens as needed. Our lodge does not have a 24-hour front desk. Our check-in times are 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Please contact us if you would like to check in early and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you will be arriving between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., please inform us and we will have a staff member available to check you in. Any check-ins after 8:00 p.m. will be assessed a fee of $20 per half hour. We will not accept check ins after 9:00 p.m. For arrivals into the Hilo Airport (ITO) after 8:00 p.m., the late check-in fee will be waived with proof of flight itinerary. We recommend Kona Airport arrivals after 6:00 p.m. DO NOT schedule check-ins with us until the next day. Our Front Desk hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm HST (09:00 - 17:00).Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"great stay"

Excellent for overnight basics and amenities, very kind and safe spot central to downtown. Great for family, couples, or single travelers local or tourist. Nice outdoor living room also with TV in case its raining.

"Cute spot tucked away in Hilo"

Great hospitality here, super friendly and accommodating at check-in. If you’re camping, the grass is soft for tents and amenities are luxurious. There’s a nice beach real close within walking distance but will probably need a car to get anywhere else in town.

"Great service"

Booked the room to bundle with tour. The room was large and had kitchen but he best was the balcony where we could view the wild life and birds. The tour guide was excellent and provided a great tour of island and observatory.

"Mauna Kea"

Weather this was an absolutely fabulous tour. Donna was very informative. We were lucky to have a beautifully clear night for stargazing. It is very cold so wear warm clothes and most tours provide warm jackets. I wish I would have had gloves!

Great location between beaches and town center; tranquil; clean and well taken care of;lack of TV in suite allowed us to disconnect from world and spend time together;well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare and enjoy home made meals

A comfortable stay in our campervan. Great amenities and all clean. The staff were all friendly and super helpful. A stone's throw away from the beach. A quiet road off the main road, so pretty peaceful at night.

This place is a Very quiet and safe environment. Very close to the Hilo International Airport ( about 20 minutes to Arnotts Lodge). Very friendly staff. We checked in very late due to late airline arrival,. The staff, Mike, was still waiting for us at the lodge for our late check in. We greatly appreciate for Arnotts Lodge’s flexible accommodation for our late check in. Further, another staff at Arnotts Lodge, Lauren, the young lady at the front desk, went beyond her duty to help me on my Apple laptop as I encountered the technical issues. I am a new Apple Laptop user. Highly recommend Arnotts Lodge to anyone.
