Wonderful boutique Hotel, nice spacious rooms, Hotel staff is very attentive. Wonderful breakfast on the terrace.

Beautiful boutique hotel near the center of town. Wonderful staff and wonderful breakfast.

If you like old buildings with the original walls and floors, this is your place. The rooms are huge, perfect for families (the bathroom is located within one of the bedrooms). We thought we would love the charm and antiquity of this hotel. But, we found the room to be musty and dusty. The owner has cluttered the rooms with trinkets, creepy old dolls, and canopies. We found the musty smell to be off-putting--running the A/C helped a little. Additionally, the front desk staff was very disorganized from our info-gathering phone calls to our in-person interactions (and we speak Spanish). The best parts of the hotel were the location, which was superb, and the ladies upstairs who prepared breakfast everyday with big smiles and remembered who liked what.

Friendly staff overall. They made us feel welcomed and right at home. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Very central location.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel Very much. Our room was on the 3rd floor at the same level as the restaurant/bar. It was a comfortable large room that was beautifully furnished. We also enjoyed breakfast, lunch and drinks at the lovely rooftop restaurant. A couple of things to note: The only way to get to our room was up a winding staircase. It would have been challenging for people with mobility issues. Also, the staff doesn’t speak very much English. This wasn’t a problem for me because I speak some Spanish, but it could be a bit challenging for travelers who speak no Spanish.

Mario, Diego, Martha and Vicente, were wonderful! The commanding views from the terrace, will take you to another world!. The food is delicious!, Martha managed to prepare Oaxacan traditional dishes just for me!. I can’t wait to go back!.

Lo más destacable es el servicio del personal. Muy atentos y dispuestos siempre. Es una casa bien adaptada. Todas las habitaciones son diferentes y llenas de objetos interesantes y antigüedades. Al estar en la zona centro el ruido es inevitable, unas por otras. Es de especial mención la atención y servicio de la señora Tere en el desayuno. Se merece un 10.
