Place and charm

Same thing that goes with charm. But also the noise level from other guests and shared bathroom

This is a historic bed and breakfast in a great location. Room was fine and because its a historic hotel we had to share a bathroom, however this never posed a problem. The breakfast part was less than average. What is missing is the charm of staying in a historic B&B which typically means special touches and a warm host.

The venue is gorgeous, and the owners are welcoming. Moreover, the breakfast and decoration of the communal areas make it an 'attraction' to visit by itself.

Although our bedroom was lovely, as very tall individuals we had a bit of a hard time with the low-ceilings of the room we stayed in. Such things are perfectly reasonable in historical buildings, of course.

We felt cheated by the bottom of the barrel half breakfast and street parking, very far from what was advertised. The dining room was even too hot to try your special tea, and we couldn't even buy it for later because the gift shop was closed. No human present at all. The house is amazing, but this is an overerpriced AirBNB, not a proper B&B at all.

I felt like I was in old time salem,the detail was exceptional

Not that didn't like it but I'm used to modern housing and facilities the ceilings in the rooms and bathrooms really low, and of that time i suppose

Our son and daughter in law gave us an overnight stay here for a Christmas gift. The Daniels House was clean, and easy to access once we arrived. We arrived to check in at 4pm, already having been emailed our access code, and our assigned parking spot. We stayed on the second floor in the Great Room, which was spacious, clean and had its own bathroom. We slept in a king sized antique 4 posted bed, which we were able to adjust the head and foot of with a remote control. (sorry, forgot to take a photo of the bed!) We entered the lobby, signed the guest book and then after we put our luggage in our room, went out and about Salem, which was fantastic. So much to do, and see, and all within walking distance from The Daniels House. The only thing we were a little disappointed by was that we never saw our hosts the whole time we were there, (other than a man and women dressed in historical attire, that came down the stairs and exited the front door as we were sitting inside the dining area at breakfast.) We have been to many B&Bs and this was the first time that we had experienced not having a host or hostess on the property to greet you as you check in, or check out, or even at some point during your stay just to say hello. Other than that, it was a very pleasant place to stay as our room was clean, odorless and spacious and the Inns location made it possible to see a lot while were were the for such a short stay. We were pleasantly surprised by how peacefully quiet it was in and outside of the Inn.

The location was amazing and the room was comfortable. I liked the ambiance and furnishings.

The "caretakers" did not seem to know anything about our stay. We saw them twice, both times when they had to open the door for us. I was under the impression someone would be there to tell us about the house and show us around but they stayed behind the closed door to the kitchen the entire time. I could have stayed at a cheap motel and saved $300 and received the same experience. Beautiful house but not worth the money.

Loved this place. They make you feel so welcomed and the space is beautiful and amazing.

This was a very unique experience and we're so glad we got to stay here. I booked early to secure the great room. Very spacious room and bathroom. The property is very old but that's what was intriguing to us. Everything in Salem is walkable from here. Would highly recommend!
