Perfect location for walking to everything. The house itself is so interesting and full of history. We stayed in the East India room and our beds were so comfortable and cozy. Beautifully decorated, quiet and relaxing. We loved that there were snacks and drinks available pretty much all day and evening as most places do not seem to open very early in Salem (and we are early risers). Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Loved this historic home. It’s within walking distance to everything. There was a little garden and wisteria and lilacs were in bloom. The house is decorated in tasteful antiques and our room was spacious and so comfortable. The stairs would be difficult for some but what a great experience.
VERY EXPENSIVE, POOR CANCELATION POLICY, POOR PARKING POLICY, VERY LIMITED BREAKFAST.
USI have dietary restrictions. The banana was nice. I am also 6foot3 and got a kick out of the incredibly low ceilings. We had a great time.
The amenities were perfect. The little racist bank in The shared Marion bathroom was concerning. Sure it wasn’t meant to be offensive. It just has a nasty history. Should look into it.
We really like staying at unique or historical properties. The Daniels house was both. The Hostess at breakfast was very friendly and helpful with our questions about parking for my brother who was coming to meet us. Would stay here again. The only con would be thevceiling height in the 3rd floor rooms.
More communication with the staff would have been better as well as making sure each occupant is doing what is ask. I understand sharing a bathroom in a colonial house is a hard thing but if you are making people follow rules then you should not book two families in that floor.

Great location within walking distance to all the sites and shops. Room was neat and clean as was the common areas. Definitely would stay again.
This place is extraordinary, I can only recommend staying here if you visit Salem, it might be the only place like this in the entire United States. It really feels like 16hundreds. Absolutely awesome in every way - don’t miss it. I love the old props and antiques!
USWe loved the overall ambiance of the house and the ability to stay in a piece of history. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious.
This wasn't a problem for us, but make sure to not pack to heavy. The staircase is narrow and steep up to the third floor, but again...it's a 17th century house
