Perfect place to stay, very clean and easy access.

The Berkman's apartment-style rooms made traveling to Mayo extremely convenient and comfortable - laundry, full kitchen & Fresh Thyme grocer within walking distance. I keep returning to Berkman because or the open layout and ample natural sunlight that doesn't feel like a hotel. Easy to get to and from appointments with the free shuttle or a pleasant 1 mile walk from downtown. The rooms have been very clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful. The rooftop pool, patio, gym, sauna, and lounge area are just added bonuses. The only complaints are 1) coffee/tea in communal area frequently out of stock 2) No cell service (ATT) in the rooms. 3) chronic odor problem in the hallways coming from the garbage shoots. I reported problems to concierge, who were well aware, but blamed guests instead of taking ownership and addressing the problems themselves. *"coffee/tea run out because it gets hoarded by guests". *guests shove boxes that are too big for the garbage shoots and back-it up with garbage and pet waste and we're not always able to clean it out. The lack of professionalism is a disappointment that I hope the Berkman corrects, because otherwise its a great place to stay.

Very clean and excellent location. Had a warm feeling, didn't feel like a patient- but provided comfort and convenience. Didn't need my car once I reached there. Shuttle service to May clinic locations. Fresh Thyme Grocery 2 blocks away. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. Book for 6 nights, needed only 2 nights. Requested check out before 11:00 am and they charged me only for 2 nights.

The Berkman was outstanding. The hotel/apartments were very clean and had everything we needed for a home away from home. The staff was so very kind and helpful for all our requests. We would definitely stay there again!

I was having surgery at the mayo and my sister found this hotel for me to stay in, let me tell you that The Berkman is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My room was so beautiful and had amenities that I was not expecting. Unfortunately because of my surgery I did not get to experience most of the amenities but I would like to vacation in Rochester just to stay at this hotel again. I was in a studio suite with a huge balcony, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and even washer/ dryer in the room. I was very impressed and definitely would stay there again. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Rochester check out The Berkman, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing place to stay right across from St Marys Hospital.

We frequently travel to Rochester to meet with our daughter's cardiologist. While the appointments are sometimes tiresome and time consuming we always look forward to the respite and hospitality of the Berkman. Whether it's the warm greeting from the host, the relaxing time on the 4th floor pool area or relaxing in our room, the Berkman never disappoints. Will always be our, 'go to' in Rochester.

Such an amazing place. Right across the street from mayo. Quiet and all the amenities. The pool was clean perfect temp, sauna was perfect to relax.

This is a wonderful, beautiful hotel with the most caring staff ever! They were a huge help at a difficult time. Words cannot adequately express how grateful we are to the staff at a difficult time. Thank you!
