Hilton Vacation Club Ridge on Sedona

Just not what i expected

Quiet, clean and kitchen well equipped. Nice pool and sunning area. Close to lots of hiking.

WiFi was a bit spotty. Cold water in gym would be appreciated. Felt a bit far from action and opportunities in Uptown Sedona.

Really enjoyed the facilities, the proximity to Sedona and trailheads was perfect. Wish were here for more days.

This was our first trip to Sedona. We really enjoyed staying at the Hilton Vacation Club Ridge on Sedona. We had a studio unit with a queen bed, large bathroom, and partial kitchen. It was perfect for us. We are retired and didn't spend alot of time in the unit. It was dated, but it was clean. (I understand Hilton is remodeling all of the units since buying this resort.) We had a slight problem with a leak in the bathroom faucet. We reported it the morning after checking in, and maintenance was there within an hour. They replaced it with a new one. The staff kept us updated by text regarding that issue as well as other news about happenings at the resort. We were very pleased. I love the location of this property. It is located 7 miles south of downtown Sedona which is VERY busy. We like the quiet atmosphere at Ridge on Sedona. Lots of shops/restaurants in Oak Creek Village where this is located. The views are beautiful. Our unit didn't have a mountain view, but that was okay. Since we had a smaller unit, I understand that completely. So many trails within a short distance. An easy drive to downtown Sedona. We didn't use the pools and hot tubs, but they look nice. The front desk and concierge staff members were nice and helpful. The fitness center is open 24 hrs a day (located off the lobby) and was adequate. My husband and I like to walk on the treadmill and there were two of those. We decided to go on the owner presentation sales tour the first morning that we were there. No pressure to do that....we agreed so that the resort fee would be refunded to us. Not a high pressure sales presentation. We told the sales rep that we weren't buying, and we were out of there within 60 minutes. Lastly, there is a nice outdoor seating area located below one of the pools. It has a wooden loveseat swing and a couple of Adirondack chairs. Nice place to relax and watch the sunset.
