It was a comfortable & clean cottage in a great location to access the sights of the Blue Mountains. Very friendly for families. Also close to a great pub & Italian restaurant for dinners out.

The location was lovely. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Close to the village and close to trails and hikes. The property was well-equipped with everything we needed. A generous amount of tea and coffee were left.

"Great location and spacious accommodation but in need of TLC"

Location was excellent, and the cottage was very nice- spacious with comfortable beds and good facilities and equipment.

The standard of cleanliness was not up to our expectations. The bed linen and towels were clean, but I had to wash all the kitchen equipment before use, there was a lot of dust and the barbecue was very dirty. The carpets and some of the furnishings are past their sell by date as they are stained and probably need replacing. This has been mentioned, along with a broken kitchen blind, in previous reviews but not addressed. Extra charges which were not made clear on the Booking.com website were added, including a credit card charge and a large refundable deposit. We kept receiving emails from the company which owns the cottage telling us not to have extra guests (which we had no intention of!), warning us about cleaning charges if we left anything dirty and even asking us whether we wanted all the beds made up. We found this unnecessary and offputting. Given that we actually left the place cleaner than we found it this was frustrating. This is a lovely place to stay in a great location, which could actually be wonderful if it was given a deep clean and some refurbishment.

"An adequate house and probably good value for money."

Nice modern well equipped kitchen. Efficient heating.

Carpet was filthy and moth eaten. Shower over spa bath. Booking process deceptive and never experienced with a booking.com booking before. Credit card charge PLUS a $300 deposit.
