Primo Old Town Location with Heated Pool

The best way I would describe this place is “hit or miss.” It really depends upon when and where you stay within this complex, which is why I think it has received such high ratings up to this point. Booked a deluxe studio for an entire week. Upon turning on the AC, water began gushing out of the AC unit above the door entrance. It took them TWO days to send the maintenance to fix it. I was forced to put down towels and buckets to collect water for two days straight (see attached pics). It was SO relaxing to try to get any sleep for those two days while listening to water drip into the buckets. On top of that, the room had a serious ant problem for the entire week stay. The attached pics don’t really do the situation justice. Not just a few here and there, they were EVERYWHERE. I talked with the occupants of the adjacent room. Their room had ants too. They packed up and left the same night due to the ants. I reported the ants to Vince - same guy that responds to these reviews with the same generic “I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay” tag. His solution??? Had housekeeping leave a spray can of Raid in my room. He also would not work with me when I requested a different room As others have written, all communication was through text or email. No management on site. If a guest had a serious issue with their room or an emergency (getting locked out without a phone or means of communication) especially in the evening, they would be screwed. Don’t take the risk. Stay away.

Horrible stay… the water didn’t get warm and I started itching when I got possibly bed bugs I saw a cockroach crawling on the dresser as well… I will never stay here again

Its not hotel its condominium as not easy walk towards stores; no staff cleaning if stay longer; basic amenities will NOT re stock not even trash bag means guest buy them; mattress is not foam memory its felt memory sponge which hurt my back worse it get warm sponge itself due weather temperature; my skin is very sensitive despite room cleaned due aroma nice but it was not properly good cleaning because i got flies insects as mosquitoes biten my skin!; chair is high as small that cant cover my entire butt;the rules said CANT EAT anywhere just in kitchen but no normal table not even normal chair just a chair small to eat on cabinet kitchen...ARVDK RENTALS VACATION will take your card security but to get security back it will be more than 10 days means when you get out off property after 3-5 days refund or no clue because not into my card so wait another probably 10 days i was told that.; im not happy with so much longest hassle as security still not in my card....i saw mailbox at property but host will not provide key for mailbox so no mail delivery here., never saw security guard not even custodian so i do not feel safe but my faith in God always kept me calm.

Overall great experience

Really enjoyed this property and its location. Clean, everything is in working order, and it really is the perfect spot for someone visiting from out of town. The location makes it very walkable to restaurants, stores, pretty much anything you could need. I did have a few issues though. 2 of the days we stayed we were woken up at 6:45 am each day by hammering and loud power tools. So loud that it was shaking things inside of the room. The property was getting a new roof, and this was a complete surprise to us. We were never notified that any maintenance would be occurring, let alone it happening directly on top of us. This really put a damper on our trip, we were very tired and it made it hard to enjoy the plans we had for those 2 days. Another issue is that there is a main entrance gate right next to the front door of the unit we stayed in. It lead out to a public parking area behind the complex. It made us a bit uncomfortable that regardless of time of day, the gate was always wide open for anyone to stroll on in. Noticed it in the early am, and even around midnight when we returned. The complex is in a safe nice area, but having this entrance wide open 24/7 wasn’t great for peace of mind in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend others do also. Roof maintenance definitely isn’t an all the time thing, just unfortunate that we had to deal with it without any prior notice.

The property is clean, well maintained, quiet and private. Communication with the owner was prompt. Great place to stay!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. I regret to inform you that our stay was marred by a persistent noise disturbance originating from a neighbor's dog. Starting promptly at 6 am and continuing until after 9:30 am each day, the dog's distressing barking violated the tranquility and peacefulness we anticipated during our visit. We were unable to sleep, and it was incredibly disturbing to hear a dog in such an intense and constant state of emotional distress. Not only were we unable to sleep at all for our entire stay, but it scared our dog to no end. We fully understand and appreciate the importance of adhering to the quiet hours outlined in your rule book. As fellow animal lovers, it was particularly distressing for us to hear an animal in such evident distress for extended periods, despite our attempts to mitigate the noise. Unfortunately, the incessant barking severely disrupted our ability to sleep, relax, and enjoy our time at your property. We booked the place because of its promise of serenity. ADDITIONALLY, in reaching out to the host, he was unwilling to work with us at all.

Cute and quiet.

This property was renovated recently, was super clean and offered everything you could want in a studio. Cold ac, a new washer and dryer, nice sheets and towels and all hard surface floors. Beware that there are stairs and the area around the property is very dense, so parking may be a block or two away. I did get barraged with at least a dozen messages between the host and Expedia, so they need to figure the communications piece out. Would definitely recommend for a solo business traveler like myself.
