Hotel Casona Margot

We asked for the room on the ground floor and it was provided. The breakfast was basic but good. We stayed only one night. The hotel has nice decorations in public spaces in colonial style. Plenty of shadow to relax. It was in walking distance to the more lively center of the town.

As the style is colonial the window/balcony door was opening on the inner courtyard.

We had a lovely large room with huge comfy bed and a balcony outside. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the centre of town and bus station. A simple breakfast was included too.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel tucked into a quiet Mexican street. Walk through an unpretentious street door into a taste of old Mexico. It is old and basic but has a lovely feel. Big rooms, good beds, a nice little pool.

Breakfast was mediocre fine for the cost of the room.

Nice and helpful staff, but they don’t speak English. Walking distance to centre en near by nice street with lots of restaurants. We got a room upgrade, which was very sweet. Air conditioning was working great.

The room was not clean. The floor, ceiling and bathroom were very dusty and we felt like the room wasn’t used in a while. The swimming pool was not clean as well.

Helpful staff. Andrea offered to do laundry and organized cabs. Carlos made a good breakfast. Both were very friendly even though we didn't speak Spanish.

Pool full of insects, not very clean. Bit unsure what situation was at breakfast next to the pool. Could do with a fridge in room. Shower was not very good, full of limescale.
