"Terrible Stay, Roaches in ROOM!"

2.0

Wednesday 01.29.2020 I checked into the Extended Stay America in Sandy Springs (1050 Hammond Dr. Atlanta, GA 30328) and upon entering the building to checkin, the representative, Elijah was walking around on his phone (Airpods in his ear and his pants were below his waist, revealing his blue FRUIT OF THE LOOMS. His attitude upon approaching the desk was of a nonchalant mentality, he acted as if I he was mad at me for checking in and disturbing his phone call. Once I received keys to a 23nd room floor, before I even placed luggage down, I was killing roaches on the wall and on the table in the room. I called down to the desk and asked about changing rooms, he told me come to the desk and he'd move me. Not problem, once I entered the office he wasn't to be seen. He was in the back office on the phone. Once he gave me the keys in the room. I entered room 109, and it too had roaches in the kitchen around the stove. Also In the room, the bed smelled and the recliner was none operable. There was trash in trash the trashcan and hair in my shower. This entire complaint was bought to light in the survey they send out, after the stay. NOTHING was done. At all. The GENERAL MANAGER (Racquel Partee) did nothing of note except apologize for my inconvenience. It's a poor excuse for management and representation.. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY...EVER! This is a "HOOD" establishment and its ran as such. Its degrading to place guests in these types of rooms and not have them equipped with the amenities advertised. Corporate offered me another night, as if I wanted to stay again with roaches as my guest. I requested a complete refund of my stay and I will continue to press the issue, until the proper compensation has been rendered.

2.0

They rent rooms out to aids patients from Living Room Lounge and Positive impact and offices handle aids patients. The room I was in had squirts of blood on the ceiling and walls. The room was filthy n nasty the carpet was stained and smelled they tried to cover it up with smell good spray but it still smelled a horrible place to stay.

"Possibly the worst stay in my lifetime."

2.0

The room I stayed in for only 4 days was so unclean it can barely be put into words. Once you walk in, the odor hits you immediately. Take a step in and your shoes stick to the floor. The coffee table had numerous stains, same with the “desk”. In addition to this, each corner of the floor was caked with filth and dust, seemingly untouched for a long while. Cigarette ends riddles the floor under the bed along with more dust and filth. One cigarette in PLAIN SIGHT right on the lamp beside the bed, keep in mind the “no smoking” policy at the hotel. No signs of upkeep in the room other than simply changing the bedsheet. 100% would not recommend spending a single cent here. I would rate this establishment with zero stars if it was possible.

"Fake Reservations"

2.0

Call ahead to make sure you have a real reservation before going to the location. I made a reservation online and got a confirmation number. When I arrived to the Buford Hwy location in Norcross with all of my things there was not a room available. The property manager said the company intentionally overbooked 5 people to make sure the rooms stay full.

"Currently a resident and this is a great place."

10.0

I had the opportunity to stay here twice in the last year . A total of 2 1/2 months. Had a great stay and I am even more impressed with the upgrades made. The night manager Ron is excellent at his job and is great at helping you in any way. I would recommend this location to anyone.

"GREAT STAFF, NEW RENOVATIONS!!"

10.0

I am a traveling nurse and was not familiar with the area. Tabitha, Ron, Damien, Carol and Cassandra have gone above and beyond to make my extended stay feel safe, comfortable and like I am in my own home, with family close by. My newly renovated room is always kept clean by Carol and Cassandra, and their warmth and friendliness make me feel welcome. Tabitha is always able to assist at any time and has been wonderful to work with. Ron and Damien are always helpful and attentive and make me feel very secure being here. I stay here during the week and travel home each weekend, and I would never consider staying anywhere else. GREAT job team!!!!!

"A Great Place to Stay in Sandy Springs, Georgia"

10.0

I have stayed at several Intown Suites and by far this is the best! This place is freshly renovated, clean, doors on inside, and the landscape is well manicured, weekly. It is in the heart of the new city of Sandy Springs and is in walking distance to everything. When I was greeted, by Tabatha ,I knew this would be a great place. As well as the onsite security guard, Carl. A very pleasant man and cares about his property and they guest(s) comfort. Housekeeping staff are friendly and clean the room nicely on a weekly bases. The only downfall with all Intown Suites is the 2 towels and 2 face cloths you have to wash $3.00 wash/dry and purchasing bathroom tissues and paper towels after it is gone. Plus there are no pots and pans or iron/board for short/long term stay.

"Not worth the money"

2.0

$350/ week plus tax comes to $427 and they said we had to replenish the toilet paper ourselves. Seriously? The room is cleaned once a week. We took our towels to the laundromat (since you don't get new ones) rather than wash them here where you have to pay $5 for a card to load $ on to use the machines.

"Excellent Location, Good Rooms, Good Price for the Area - A Good Find"

8.0

King size room is like a good size efficiency apartment. All appliances are new and in good working condition. The hallways are a bit dark and the elevator small but functional. The front desk manager is very attentive. So far I have nothing but compliments. The location is PERFECT, with every type of restaurant at just a 2 minutes walk. Supermarket (Kroger) is a 4 minutes walk. Bus service from MARTA if you need it (takes about 20 minutes to the train station in either Sandy Springs or Medical Center). The property is 2 minutes from GA400 and I-285, and 15 minutes drive (2.5 miles) from Perimeter Mall complex. The location is fairly safe. I have not seen any illicit activity or any other security concerns. The property is locked at all times and requires room card to enter any door after 7:00PM (when the front office closes).

"Pay more and stay elsewhere but here!!!"

2.0

Don't stay here the manager and house keeper are horrible. The rooms are not the cleanest and the manager don't make his one and housekeeper attend to the they way she should. My car was broken into he didn't ask no question not showed any sympathy or concern. Car was parked outside the security officer room and he didn't even here anything. B.S. Spend a 100 dollars more and stay elsewhere. Burn stain comforters and color marked sheets that should be thrown away. Old fridge that sweats water. Sinks and tubs are rusty
