ארוחת בוקר ענייה. תוספות שמבקשים בתשלום. לא כל הצוות דובר אנגלית קצת קשה לתקשר.

Todo perfecto lo único es el restaurante que tienen, en el desayuno está mejor porque ya las cenas, snacks o comidas fuertes pésimo. Solo tienen muy poquitas alternativas y cuando escoges algo de las opciones no hay en total te van quedando solo 2 opciones para escoger aparte de que cada rato te dicen ya de eso no queda, ejemplo pides algo y quieres repetir y ya de una vez te dicen ya no hay. O sea no tienen capacidad para tener huéspedes y atenderlos por lo mismo que no tienen alimentos y los que hay son contados, De resto todo excelente!

Le cadre est superbe et la location des canoë très pratique. MAIS, nous étions dans la chambre qu’ils appellent familiale : minuscule, rien pour poser les affaires, pas une table et chaises sur la terrasse qui est certes très petite. Le petit déjeuner est très spartiate (à condition de payer pour avoir plus), mais rien pour les enfants (des fruits; mais pas un jus de fruit ou chocolat au lait à boire). Je recommande pas pour un séjour en famille

First time we stayed at Balacar and the Blue Bird is awesome. You have to consider this is a remote small town so don’t expect resort accommodations. Hotel has bungalows with A/C, super cute, super clean and the staff is super nice so I would say they have everything you need. Breakfast maybe included but remember this is served at Bacalar time, around 9-11am and it’s light, fresh fruit, coffee and toast. If you’re early people like us, you can drive around 10 minutes to get to the main square and a block away you can find a Panaderia which serves coffee and sweets or sandwiches always handy if you’re going on tour. They have a great waterfront location, where you can swim, a sandbar just across and it’s really close to Cenotes Azul, Esmeralda and Cocalito. The Blue Bird has free kayaks and paddle boards you can use. Beware of the lagoon itself, three cenotes or sinkholes are in the lagoon so people have died swimming, kayaking or paddleboarding due to the currents, some of these cenotes are 200-300 feet deep and their overflow has fill up the lagoon. You want to use the equipment during the morning while the water is super calm but still have to wear lifejacket at all times. Hotel close its door at night but you can contact the front desk if you need to do a late check in or you’re back after 9pm. This is not a party town but you can still have wonderful time and food is delicious. Hope to be back to Bacalar and stay at the Blue Bird again!

Très bel emplacement sur la lagune. Paddle board et kayak à notre disposition. Plusieurs transats et chaises pour profiter de l’eau. Belles petites cabanas avec hamac pour relaxer en fin de journée. Personnel sympathique.

Les salles de bains se mériteraient de petites rénovations!
