Harana Surf Resort - Hostel

The room we stayed in, the location and the staff.

Our room was right next to a hostel where there was a lot of noice and music. It did quite down around midnight.

The ambience of the place is great.

I've been waiting for 2 weeks now that they will reinburse my money back. We booked 3 rooms and 1 cancelled when we arrived at the resort because of age limit rules. So I want it to upgrade for another room but they said they cant do it and they want me to booked again and i pay cash 22k at the reception on that day we arrived and they said the booking.com will return my Money back because I booked online.

The room was great, good AC, big space, nice athmosphere. We were so close to the beach, just a few steps through the resort. Right in fornt of Tuason Surf Spot! The breakfast staff is very kind too.

Very laid back island vibe with rustic rooms and a delicious restaurant! Decent location with only a few minute walk to Cloud 9 but would want a scooter or tuk tuk to enjoy the main street action in General Luna. The resort has a nice beach area to enjoy and relax at. A perfect place to relax and take a reset from life.

It was very loud at night with the hotel staff having their quarters on the back side of the rooms. The animal life really comes alive at night and I’d suggest wearing ear plugs to sleep. There was also a lot of ants coming in from the ceiling that kept drooling on the bed.

Helpful staff (reception, surf school, resto and security); cozy room (Deluxe 5); amazing garden; good food and cocktails at resto; acoustic Wednesdays; great surf school; the walk along the beach either towards (almost) Cloud 9 or downtown; the chill vibe

Everything! The vibe, the accommodation, the staff, pool, beach, surf classes! Not crowded and suoer relaxing! Only a short ride to general luna or a short walk to cloud 9.

The only thing is that it is said they change your bes linen and towel every second day. I stayed for a week in the shared villa and they were never changed. I asked to get my towel changed and tjat was not an issue.
