Silversands Hotel

First class 👏👏

Good room..room service everyday..heating on when it turned cold..plenty hot water..entertainment 2 nights out of 3 that I stayed..hotel seemed to be run in a relaxed easy going manner which reflected well with the clientele .

Nothing comes to mind that I didn't like

Hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast good. We didn't experience evening entertainment, as was out and about

Staff were amazing the rooms were very clean and big location fab

Bed was a little bit too springy

The tram was at the bottom of the street easy to travel around

Went into bedroom, very tiny room ,when coming out of bed put one foot down on the floor u were right into the wall, bits lying on bathroom floor, radiator dirty ,didn't use shower, only ordered 2 pieces of bacon for breakfast to get 8 small burnt ends of bacon ,disgusting also waited ages to get served and tea was cold asked for more hot tea and still waiting on it , I complained to young boy who said to me ,I know its been some morning ,will never stay again and would not reccomend this hotel

Location

Food could be better. The lift needs servicing. Our mattress and duvet needed replacing. Bathroom tap loose. Radiator was boiling hot and regulator broken. No shelving in the shower. No paper towels or hand sanitizer in the concert room Gents toilet ( Notified staff. The following day still empty). In general the hotel needs refurbishing throughout. Past manager neglected it. We have stayed here a few times in the past.
