The cottage was nestled in beautiful landscape. Had everything we needed. Middle of Dartmoor.

Peaceful location, cottage had everything you need for a home away from home.

We loved the secluded spot. No background noise, just the stream and the sheep. The house is spacious and warm. The scones with clotted cream and jam were gratefully received 😊 I was happy to see the efforts to use eco-friendly, cruelty free products.

Some of the kitchen appliances are dated and some staples were missing; pizza cutter etc. The rope seal around the doors to the log burner are coming away and allowed smoke the enter the room. Even with adequate ventilation, the smell was overpowering and lingered to the end of our stay.

We stayed at Drovers Cottage for 2 nights.. all rooms very spacious and very comfortable and homely. The log burner was a big plus for us. Would definitely stay again when we are next in the area.

The countryside and location of the area. The cottage has everything you need. Quiet and away from people. Not far from the local town for amenities.
