Drovers Cottage

The cottage was equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean and with very comfortable beds. We were welcomed with a cream tea, very good after a long journey! Jo came to check we had everything we needed and it was lovely to chat with her.

For us the only slight flaw was the location of the cottage, where you were looking straight out at a dark rhododendron. This made the living area dark. The bedrooms were much brighter!

We enjoyed having a house rather than a b&b like the rest of our trip. Patrick's visit was enjoyable. Very nice man!

Excellent property for a short break in Devon. Well equipped in a lovely rural location. The property was easy to find with directions. Check in was smooth and delicious scones were a great touch. Would recommend and return next time we are in the area.

The location outside Tavistock was brilliant. The property is on private land and is surrounded by fields and forest. Birdsong woke us each morning. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Such a peaceful place.

It was lovely and clean, everything we needed was there and it was easy to find. There was a lovely welcome of scones, clotted cream and jam on our arrival too which was such a lovely extra touch.
