Breakfast was good since we were not in a hurry. The whole staff was overwhelmed and had to turn people away because there we little staff.

Pool was un available and Dining room was closed due to power outage that open at some point

Ask for recommendations and suggestions. Everyone was very prompt and resourceful

Rooms were lovely and comfortable.

The phone didn’t work and I had to troubleshoot the problem. The jack had never been attached. Not enough cream for complimentary coffee. When I asked the employee at the front desk, if she could get more, she hesitated and then said she could try to ask someone. It took many minutes for her to return with a carafe of milk. She was not apologetic and didn’t seem eager to help. The hotel is very expensive and would have expected better training for the price. Also, I would have expected 24 hour room service for the price of the hotel. That I couldn’t have coffee delivered at 6:30 was disappointing. Finally, the trashcan next to the front entrance was overflowing when we arrived on Friday afternoon and remained overflowing when we left on Sunday morning. Again, for the price, I would have expected not to see the eyesore every time we entered the building.

Beautiful hotel! We stayed overnight for a quick getaway from Rochester. Very nice bar and restaurant- great service - beautiful and comfortable room. Short drive or walk (when warmer) to other lakeside restaurants and bars. We will be back!

Met family on Christmas morning for breakfast ( there were 4 of us) . The cove was understaffed and the breakfast was not made to order ( asked for poached eggs soft, they came out hard - asked for jelly instead of butter , did not get any jelly served . When asked if they could remake the poached eggs , server said she could try to ask “ but there is drama in the kitchen”. Not sure what that meant, so I didn’t bother getting a new order of poached eggs. Beautiful venue, but poor attention to details and poor server was overwhelmed being the only staff present in the dining room for a 9:30am reservation.
