KYOTO STATION HOUSE

The bedroom was really comfortable and cozy. Close to Kyoto train station

The apartment is on 2 levels and there were stairs, a little annoying to take the luggage up to the 2nd floor but it's not that bad. The poetry is in a quiet and dark area. It is a very safe place, but I was a little scared to walk there at night.

Location was excellent, close to Kyoto station, Beds were very clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were very good.

The reception office to collect the key was some distance from the property.

Super helpful staff, we checked in late and they support us all the way through.

Safety light in the bedroom was very bright

The location of this property was good - it had excellent proximity to Kyoto Station. It was much further to walk from Kyoto Station to get the key to the property than it was to get to the actual property itself, though!

There was a bright-as-the-sun exit light in the room where everyone was sleeping. For safety reasons, there is no way to turn off this light or appropriately block it, so unless you like sleeping in a room with the brightest nightlight you've ever tried, you're not going to enjoy sleeping here. Nobody got any sleep in my family when we were there as we were tossing and turning the entire night trying to sleep through what might as well have been the sun.

Great location especially if you are travelling by Shinkansen, because it’s very close to the train station. Space big enough for 4 people, option to put 2 tatami mattresses which was great. Overall good value.

The exit light near the staircase is super annoying and it was very hard to sleep the first night with the light literally in your face. The second night we managed to cover it with a towel (had to tape it) and it was fine. Although the space is big enough, it would have been nice to have more hooks or shelves to put or hang things.
