Beautiful old country hotel full of class, one of the best wine listings I’ve ever seen and the best wood fired pizza ever. The staff were helpful and attentive and the rooms were impeccable The breakfast was superb!!! The food menu is excellent and of great quality, if we didn’t live in New Zealand we’re would be here regularly Please try it you won’t be sorry

The hotel rooms are perfect for us and the restaurant meals are very good at a reasonable price. We have been staying at the Grosvernor Arms on a stopover to Devon since 2024 and keep going back.

Small carpark on site, you need to get your parking space early. But there is lots of roadside parking.

lovely staff who helped accommodate late arrival and made sure that my very late check-in went smoothly. spacious, well appointed and very comfortable room, good lights, lovely bed, lots of electrical sockets for charging phones, very good carpeting beautiful breakfast by the fireside

the fact that some guests turn up at breakfast broadcasting that they feel very much the worse for wear, from drinking too much the night before.
