"Exceptional hotel with exceptional staff!"

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing service! We enjoyed the comfortable, clean, and modern rooms, great swimming pool facility, the breakfast had many hot and cold options (fun and healthy!), and the staff were friendly and helpful! The front desk staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome and be helpful. We were able to walk to many attractions, including the riverfront, restaurants, and the WWII landing ship. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel!

The location and beds.

The shower didn't work and when I told the front desk the lady said, "It's probably because we're full and everyone is showering, I'll have maintenance check later". Then a few days later I received an extra $10 charge with no explanation.

"Lovely Hyatt Place"

Checking in went smoothly and we received our Explorists benefits. Our room was spacious and spotless- I loved the walk-in shower. However, I could hear doors closing on our floor, plus construction near by woke me in the morning. The lobby area was beautiful, and my husband enjoyed the breakfast. An added bonus- parking was FREE.

Check in time was at 3pm. We arrived at 2 and the front desk tells us this. We leave to go eat and when we get back our room still wasn’t ready. We waited over 45 mins for a room. We were in town for a concert. We had to get ready in the bathroom in the lobby and felt rushed. The staff was very apologetic. I don’t know if they were over booked or short staffed. I have never had this happen at any other Hyatt that I’ve stayed in.
