Empty hotel on weekends, so very quiet

Worst experience. Night desk worker LAUREL is the laziest, most incompetent, rudest worker I’ve encountered. Cannot believe Marriott would have her representing them. Had a night reserved and paid for prior to arrival. She had no idea how to find the reservation, then declared it wasn’t her job to help. Pointed her nose into the confirmation number which she started yelling was the wrong confirmation number. Then I asked her to call her manager so they could help her do her job. She went to another room and came back and I asked her if she called the manager, her response was “did you hear me talking to her?” A lot more happened after that in very much the same tone. I left and stayed elsewhere after her threats that my attitude wasn’t good enough for her even though I was trying to get what I paid for, my room! After a call from American Express she found the reservation, magically she wasn’t able to find it before because I ‘didn’t have an ID’…right.. my military ID was the first thing I handed to her as I walked in and held it up for her to check the name.. incredible liar and someone who doesn’t belong in any capacity working with customers

Booked a two queen room room at this hotel and when I checked in, was told they were out of queen rooms. Gave a credit card to guarantee the room and nothing. Hotel front desk was worthless and this hotel is not worth the Marriott brand. Also they charge $7 for parking in Midland, Texas. There was no ask if I parked a car when I checked in, so it was assumed by the hotel that I was using their parking lot which tells me they are after a quick buck. This hotel is after a quick buck and does not care about the customer or the customer experience. Avoid this hotel.

New property - good floor plan & modern features such as USB charging in all the places you would need. Comfortable bed, great shower - really nice place.

Excellent newer hotel on the south side of midland. The room was very clean and comfortable and also comes with a small kitchenette.

Great location. The hotel seemed fairly new. The staff was pleasant and available to answer any questions. The breakfast was ok. Overall a good stay.
