Yachtsman Ocean Front Resort

Overall clean but there was a slight moldy smell. The room was not cleaned for the 5 days we were there and we were not told at checkin. We had to ask at the front desk for towels. Ok stay. We stayed on the beach most of the time.

This was a great place to stay definitely will be back

it's a nice place to stay if you're not looking for something too nice and just a place to stay while you're there, the views are great and it's walking distance from most things. it's right behind the boardwalk so that's really convenient, the only complaint we had was that the elevators did not have air conditioning so they were extremely hot.

Old building and furnishing

It was not renovated like it said first of all the elevators work when they want 🙄 and the rooms look like it was the 80s. We left after a few days came back home. Sorry wont be back again.

The property was older and that is not an issue at all but it was badly maintained. There was a leak in the ceiling of the master bedroom and when we called the office to report it no one bothered to check on it. The office has odd hours and is not open 24/7. There is no parking near the towers only 15 minute parking to load and unload. You have to park in a parking garage one street over and walk back to the room. It's not very safe with small kids or people with wheelchairs/disabilities. The pool situation was okay. The hot tubs and kiddie pools were shutdown. And the two remaining pool outside were pretty small. The walking path to the beach was actually nice and decent. There was homeless people taking up beach chairs by the pool area and sleeping, changing clothes in front of guests and children. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The reviews I read must have been different or people had a better experience but we will not be back.

The rooms smell so bad and very dirty

I did not like the Yasmin club because I was having problems with my room and when I was allergic to them cleaning, whatever cleaning they had used for the walls which was mostly bleach I am allergic to it and when I had explained that to the young lady at the front desk, she told me that I just had to check out. I first went down to the front desk and explain to the young lady that it was mold in the room and that I was unable to stay in that room. I had went to the front desk earlier complaining about the mold that’s what led to the bleach, then I was told that I should’ve taken the other room that was given to me and that they had no more rooms left, and the rooms that they did have left were dirty, and guests are going to be staying in there!

The view was amazing!!! The only complaints are you could not sit out on the balcony, and the room was dated, but it was clean.
