Guest House Matana Pomena

L’accueil d’Inka, Vicko et leur fille a été exceptionnelle. Le logement est bien situé à proximité du parc national et des lacs . Il est propre et fonctionnel. Les petits déjeuners et les repas à base de leurs produits sont de qualités. Nous avons pu bien échanger avec les hôtes en cette période de fréquentation plus calme. Nous recommandons vivement. Merci à Inka et Vicko pour ce superbe moment passé avec eux.

A super nice place close to the sea. The host was very kind, even preparing our room early and giving us helpful tips for exploring Mljet. We really enjoyed the peaceful location and our stay.

The bedroom was spacious and we also had a lovely balcony with views down to the harbour. We were met by our host on arrival and he showed us on a map some places to see in the national park. Due to ferry times, we arrived before the normal check-in time but our room was still ready which was appreciated. The bed was a bit soft but we still managed to sleep well. The window shutters helped to keep it nice and dark too and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchenette was small but well equipped, although we didn't cook that much as the range stocked by the local shop was not that wide! The one downside was the water for showering and washing up which was tepid most of the time.

L'appartamento si trova a meno di 500 metri dal mare e da una piscina comunale affacciata sul mare. È quasi direttamente sul percorso di trekking, prevalentemente pianeggiante, che conduce ai due splendidi laghi salati del Parco Nazionale di Mljet. Gli host si sono dimostrati estremamente reattivi nella risoluzione di eventuali problemi.

A Pomena, al di là delle bellissime e vicine spiagge dei laghi salati, le spiagge locali non sono tra le migliori dell'isola. È quindi necessario spostarsi in auto o e-bike per raggiungere lidi migliori.

L'emplacement à côté de l'entrée du parc est vraiment un plus. L'achat des billets se fait juste en dessous de la chambre, très pratique. La place de parking réservée est vraiment bien car difficile de trouver une place dans la rue. L'hôte nous a donné des conseils sur les marches à faire autour des lacs. 10% de réduction si vous aller manger au restaurant Melody d'à côté.

Location is near the entrance to the NP Mljet,nice spot with terrace. But the owners Inka and Vicko where great,they told us everything that we needed to know! Thank you!

Short stay

Good value basic accommodation in Pomena. Host was very nice and let us keep bags there after check out. Very handy to the beautiful Mljet national park.

Location was good, host was responsive on WhatsApp and left me a slice of cake. Room had a mini fridge

Arriving off the ferry at 16.30 to the start of a thunder storm to be told the local shop doesn’t open until 8am wasn’t good. There’s a kettle in the room and coffee, tea and some milk (even a small jug) would have been appreciated. No means to get a drink until the next day. One made bed and one appeared to just have a mattered protector, I wasn’t sure which one I was supposed to use. Didn’t look like picture. Had to move some furniture so I had a bedside cabinet as fridge on top of the other. I wouldn’t stay again
