Great North Hotel

We had our wedding reception on 30th may.. the rooms where immaculate and the food/buffet was amazing. The staff were all helpful and went out of they're way to make us have the perfect wedding day. Debbie who was our planner was top notch. Everything I needed was on hand. And she did us proud every step of the way. Thankyou very much. Liz and Charles xx

Check in was quick and efficient, with clear instructions. The twin-bedded room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The room included a TV, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board with coffee/tea making facilities and bottled water. Great walk-in shower with nice towels, together with complimentary shower products. The air-con was brilliant during the heat wave. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant as the food was good and it was quieter than the pub next door.

I got a card first time came for to get a stamp everytime I came up have booked with hotel and with booking ..com got t stamp every time this time I was due to get a bottle of wine but was told that only get stamps but as I had booked with b.ook.com this time I idid not get stamp but have booked before with them a nd got stamp.so . not happy. .

Staff were all wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable.

Stayed one night in a deluxe room. The room was very small and the passing traffic was audible. In my opinion there was nothing 'deluxe ' about the room (very standard). We also stayed 3 nights in a Junior suite which was very nice and double the size. I would stay again in a Junior suite, but wouldn't waste the money on a deluxe room!
