"A really special hotel"

I've been visiting Gosforth every two weeks on business for almost a year now and every time I've stayed at the Great North Hotel, just 5 mins off the main A1, north of Newcastle. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and quiet, and the staff on the front desk and in both of the restaurants are wonderful - helpful and friendly, always have a smile on their face and time for a quick chat. Breakfasts are great and the menus for dinner are varied, delicious and reasonably priced. Every time I've stayed there I've always had a really good experience and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

"For an overnight stay on our way to Scotland, this was an excellent stopover."

Efficient check in, comfortable beds, great shower with plenty of hot water and air con which was essential in the heat wave.

Nothing to dislike, except perhaps the pub next door was a bit noisy due to showing a football match, but this didn’t interfere with our sleep!

Excellent pour une nuit étape. Surclassé par booking. Parking sous vidéo surveillance parfait pour une moto. Excellent breakfast en buffet. Accueil de grande qualité.
