Location and fantastic staff, great attitude and customer service, beautiful lounge and impeccable food service. Great owner.

WiFi not reaching to outer room, not enough power plugs overall and only one with euro standard, also without heater/aircon the room is very cold at night (while bed and blanket are fantastic).

The house and the views on tea plantation are wonderful, the furniture and the decor are incredibly authentic! Everything is very clean and the place is comfortable. We appreciated the chance to chill and relax in the living room with a cup of tea kindly offered by the staff. The whole staff (from the manager to the chef) are extremely friendly and kind, they spolied us with free tea, coffee and delicious meals. I would definitely recommend staying there if you are going to visit nuwara Eliya area.

Manuel Manor was without a doubt one of the friendliest places we’ve ever stayed at. The entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and all staff members were extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful. A very special thanks goes to Maduvan, who went above and beyond to take care of us. I arrived with a fever, and he not only prepared a soothing tea but also arranged an inhalation and a massage to help me recover – truly exceptional care. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent, delicious, and lovingly prepared. You can really feel the heart behind everything they do. We can wholeheartedly recommend Manuel Manor and would love to come back anytime!

Manuel Manor is An extremely spacious 4 double bedroom expansive house with an Additional double room alongside. It is impeccably well looked after and ran by Mr Anton and his team who quite honestly are there to respond to your every requirement. This was explained when Mr Anton explained that he had over 30’years experience at The legendary Hill Club in Nuwara Eliya. Add to that it is in a spectacular spot with amazing views down the valley towards the Mahawelle Ganga.

Schönes Anwesen in wunderschöner Lage, mitten in den Teefeldern. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war fantastisch.

Leider ist fühlt sich das Zimmer sehr feucht an und riecht auch entsprechend.

Our rooms had minor issues which I am sure can be resolved. Our daughters had an outside room in an outhouse in the grounds. Overwhelming smell of damp that was trying to be hidden with incense. Bed linen damp due to kit being dried properly. Likewise our rooms bed linen was damp. The owners had obviously been maintaining the property to keep it to a high standard by varnishing floors but it was very uncomfortable to sleep in a strong smell of varnish where we couldn’t open a window. Also our room did not have an en suite and we had a bathroom opposite which we had to get dressed to go to the toilet as staff were around in the communal areas. Breakfast was good but dinner menu was not appealing to our group. We took a 30 min taxi to a restaurant. A simple menu of curry and rice would suffice and would have happily stayed in Staff were nice and friendly but tried too hard at times, often interrupting conversations etc, but I am sure not deliberately.

The house was beautiful located right within the hills with a stunning view. The room was spotless and beautifully presented. The shower and bathroom facilities were also great. It looks just like the photos. We had a three course dinner at the property with a beer each costing 9,900 rupees total it was amazing (see photos). All in all I would recommend this to anyone and would defiantly go back!
