Room & Food were fine

On a freezing night the bed had a summer weight duvet & thin blanket for warmth. I slept in my socks and it was like being in a fridge. The corridor outside the room was equally cold.

Room was cold in evening and very warm in morning - couldn't adjust heating.

The breakfast was excellent. The Oak is convenient for the Malvern Bridge Congress, which is now held in Worcester.

We were staying for one night, after a long day sorting out a family bereavement. We were met with a warm welcome, a lovely steak and a much needed bottle of wine. Staff and owners were really friendly. Accommodation met our expectations, in-line with what we were paying which was super good value. We were very happy with our choice.

The staff at this pub are exceptional. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome.

The room smelt very musty. It might be that it was the carpet that needed cleaning. The pillows were lumpy. The room very basic. The bed very cheap and soft. I didn't sleep well. To rent rooms you need decent beds and bedding. The room was also very cold and despite me asking the heating wasn't turned on.

Despite some confusion over the advance payment, we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very comfortable and the food good although they should make it clear that while breakfast is available it is not served before 9am which is not particularly customer friendly.

Nice 1 night stay. Probably would have preferred a room at the back, as the pub is on a very busy main road. Room was fine otherwise, with comfortable beds. The pub itself is lovely, as is the adjoining Twisted Spoon café where we had breakfast. Great evening meal at the pub.
