Pub downstairs lovely and friendly staff. Beer garden ok if a little tired and grubby. Loved being joined by chickens for lunch they come quite close and is definitely dog friendly ok for us as we have our own (at home) but might be issue for other guests.

Bath in eaves so tight on head space when your standing in bath and shower is through taps so water goes everywhere. Similar in bedroom lm 5ft 5 hubby 5ft 11 and several times banged head trying to get in/out of bed. Our room was at the back of property so as expected you do get kitchen smells. As nice as it is having chickens roaming in garden there is alot of bird poop and garden furniture is very tired alot of broken edges could also do with a cleanup and replacing items. We do believe new managers have taken over so it will be getting a re-vamp in time.

Staff were great very welcoming and knowledgeable and attentive, food was served promptly for a table of 18. room was very clean and good size

food was not the best , burgers were very dry , curry bland , all meals had very basic presentation. room was basic ,bed was way to soft

A great room with a large bathroom including a great shower and bath. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed. A wonderful breakfast at the Twisted Spoon.

Breakfast in the attached tearoom was well made with a varied menu. Dinner in the Inn was great. The room was bright and very comfortable.

A way of reducing road traffic noise when the room windows were open (remember these were the hottest days of the year!)

The property had everything, clean facilities, great room options, dining options and car parking.
