Nice view from bedroom window

Easy check-in, friendly staff, great food, nice beer garden, quirky ceiling

Our bed was quite low and mattress a bit firm. Would have preferred a separate shower to shower over bath, but appreciate it's an old building

Close to relations.

Room next to busy main road, very noisy. Twin bed layout (end to end)

No AC in the room and it was a very warm night. One of the carpark spotlights was just outside the window. Although it was turned off at midnight it was very distracting until then and prevented me sleeping.

The staff were excellent

The bedroom was tired and very basic although nice and clean. The room faces a main road right in front of it with subsequent loud road noise making it very hard to get a rested and full nights sleep

Nice friendly pub; great food. Rooms were clean and tidy, tea and coffee provided. Toiletries provided. All you need for a nights stay

Only thing that let it down for me was it only having a shower over the path on a sloped ceiling so couldn't really have a shower as such Friends who also stayed had a proper standing shower over the bath so just room dependant

The bar staff were great and the pub was fine. The breakfast room was very nice and the food was good.

The room was not great. Also, we found the shower awkward to use …. We were worried about water going everywhere!!

Myself & my Daughter liked the relaxing atmosphere, Nice view from our room window which looked out onto the left side /front area. Nice and peaceful. Clean & Tidy Room We never watched any TV, nice room though.

Loud crows/birds from a distant,over the field oppossite the Oak Inn.lol but more peaceful midnight onwards..
