Torre Guaceto Greenblu Resort

Abbiamo concluso la nostra vacanza stamattina e già ci manca molto! Perfettamente in linea con le nostre aspettative! Staff gentilissimo a parte qualche cameriere un pochino invadente! Animazione super! Il capo villaggio Davide è una persona sempre gentile e disponibile con tutti anche gli altri ragazzi! Nota particolare per Marika che ci è rimasta nel cuore 🥰

Tasto dolente assenza di segnale e di Internet nel villaggio. Il Wi-Fi è solo nelle parti comuni ma sarebbe l’ideale qualche ripetitore per chi anche se in vacanza ha bisogno di linea per necessità! Abbiamo trovato il mare mosso causa vento forte e c’è solo la possibilità di raggiungere con navetta del villaggio la spiaggia adiacente e la riserva dove in entrambe entrambe era impraticabile fare il bagno di conseguenza bisogna usare l’auto propria per spostarsi di spiaggia.

After being diverted to this hotel after a booking mix up we arrived early evening. As we checked in we were told there was a compulsory hotel tax for a nature reserve, pool facilities & entertainment (4 nights, €95 euros per room) the rooms were adequate (shower door worn & tiles cracked) I booked the buffet dinner to save venturing out, it was average but the downside was the fly's on the food-a turn off! Ventured out the next day to try & find places to eat, very little around, it's pretty barren & an awful lot of domestic rubbish along the beach edge. This is a resort for Italian family's (we were the only English) the staff were fine but the 'entertainment' was way to loud as was the evening music. We will not be returning.

The staff was super nice and willing

We paid 60euros for dinner for two. The food was really bad quality and what more, we arrived to dinner in the middle of dinner service and most of the food was finished and not replenished. So for 60euros we had the last bits if roasted potatoes and bits of pasta. At 8h30 we wake up to a guy trimming bush outside our windows with a chainsaw. So much for sleeping in on our holiday.

Location and set-up of hotel are good with rooms being very nice and clean. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Great helpful staff. Free parking at hotel.

No lift to first floor but steps were fine for us. Booked a double bed and found two single beds next to each other that easily moved and separated, and also hard pillows which had no other soft pillows to replace. Takes too long to get the hot water, so pitty for the wasted cold water till hot water arrives at shower.

We were given this accomodation after our awful experience in Ostuni. It was out in the sticks with nothing nearby. We arrived late so were offered dinner, which we welcomed as there was no alternative nearby. The food and rooms are basic with hard lumpy pillows and no real room service, attempting to make a bed and not actually do anything else is not room service in a so called 4 star hotel.. No kettle in the room and no wifi or phone signal. We ventured out one night but found the surrounding area devoid of life with everything shut. If we hadnt had a car we would have struggled. We checked out a day early but were charged 65 euro for our complimentary dinner. We explained, asked to speak to a manager but no one turned up. Expedia's customer service is not great when things go wrong. Putting us out in the sticks when we had booked a stay in ostuni was a horrendous experience. Thos hotel is tired and barely has the basics so save your money and do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

Absolutely diabolical I have no idea how this hotel got 4 stars, it completely shattered my trust in the star system. Bare bones room , not even a kettle. My room had a blocked sink, door didn’t open properly - had to call for help to get in . Food was absolutely disgusting - I did not know it is possible to have bad food in Italy but this hotel made it possible - tasteless leaves, basic pasta with Parmesan that comes out of packets, salads made of random ingredients that look like yesterdays leftovers, dry fish …. In the restaurant they assign you a specific table and you are not allowed to move - have not seen anything like this in my life. Plus had no idea about this system as nobody bothers to explain this so I ended up walking for ages trying to find a table that didn’t say ‘reserved’ on it. Staff does not explain anything at check -in and genuinely seems disinterested. I had a large suitcase and had to carry it up the stairs myself with no offer of help - they just pointed in the direction of the room. Beach is pretty and private but the entry to water is full of rocks and rather dangerous. But the cherry on top is that there is constantly some sort of entertainment going on by the pool with blaring music. No escape from it in the rooms as it’s too loud . It goes on till midnight. Wow…. Disappointed doesn’t describe it
