Staff all so nice, room so cute and comfortable.

No bathroom door, not the worst issue but not great when sharing with a friend

Great location, clean

AC did not work while we were there during a particularly hot week. Fan provided wasn’t great. No door on shower so whole bathroom got wet

We only planned 2 nights But we ended up staying the whole week The staff made our stay amazing they are a credit to your hotel

Smart tv did not work, air con didn’t work, expensive for amenities, cramped

Location and hotel were great. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Air con being installed, so we had a fan instead - did the job, but top floor was hot.

The Baltic hotel in Liverpool is a really cool hotel, nicely decorated and in a great location. Perfect if you like alternative music and quirky design. We booked it as it looked cool despite the many bad reviews we'd read about it online but decided to give it a go and hope for the best. We noticed there was a record player in one of the pictures of the rooms and asked about the possibility of getting a room with one, and were very pleasantly surprised when we were told that they would put one in our room free of charge before we arrived and that there were lots of records to choose from at reception we could use. Upon arriving this was indeed the case and all went well at first. Happy out! However, the morning after the first night we heard a domestic situation unfold outside our bedroom shortly after 10am, with a woman shouting at her partner for several minutes, descending into crying and arguing in the hall immediately outside our room. This was a bad look on the first morning... granted could happen anywhere but seemed more likely in this hotel. That evening we bought a bottle of wine but forgot to get a corkscrew and asked in the hotel if they had one but they did not, which we were surprised at considering they have a bar. Also we wanted to get a cider the day before in the bar but there was also none... a very bog standard type of bar... Anyway, unlike the recent reviews here the housekeepers came into our room every day and changed towels and did a bit of vacuuming even though we didn't ask for it and weren't even asked if we wanted it. Just after we checked out of the hotel I discovered that a valuable item I left in my bag in the room the day before while out was missing. This had to have been taken from my bag, I did not take it out of the hotel room with me the whole time we were there. There was a safe in the room but I never thought of using it as I assumed my belongings were safe there. I emailed the hotel about it that night after I returned but never got a response. Says alot about them, not bothered about their customers. Very unfortunate as this hotel has so much potential but it is dodgey...

Good location staff was friendly and very helpful

Currently there was no air con however offered a fan , breakfast served milk had gone off , and hard poached eggs , breakfast was a downfall to our stay
