The Baltic Hotel

Cleanliness was perfect, staff were absolutely lovely day and night, food was cooked to perfection! Staff were always there if we needed anything. The hotel is beautiful and very cosy. Rooms are very spacious and no noise is heard from outside. The fridge was a main piece in our room as it was vintage artwork. Beautifully decorated rooms. Plenty of lights next to the bed, electric blinds and plug sockets next to the bed! Will be returning very soon as this hotel has a very special place in my heart. Will recommend again and again.

How dark the stairs were that is the only thing i can say. This could be as I don't like the dark.

De entree van het hotel is echt indrukwekkend en geeft direct een goede eerste indruk. Daarnaast was het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en inclusief, waardoor we ons erg welkom voelden tijdens ons verblijf. Ook de locatie is een groot pluspunt: het hotel ligt in een levendige, creatieve en opkomende buurt van Liverpool met veel sfeer.

Hoewel het hotel er van buiten mooi uitziet, viel het interieur behoorlijk tegen. Persoonlijk zou ik dit eerder een 3-sterrenhotel noemen dan een 4-sterrenhotel. Tijdens ons verblijf werkte de airco niet en stond de verwarming continu erg hoog, waarbij deze ook automatisch aansloeg. Daarnaast sliep de slaapbank erg slecht; je voelde de veren duidelijk door het matras heen, waardoor we uiteindelijk het matras op de grond hebben gelegd om nog enigszins comfortabel te kunnen slapen. Ook was de wasbak verstopt en was de badkamer zo klein dat tijdens het douchen praktisch alles nat werd. Verder ontbraken handige details zoals haakjes om handdoeken op te hangen, en met slechts vier kleerhangers moesten we handdoeken door de hele kamer hangen om ze te laten drogen. Het ontbijt bood ook weinig keuze, al was het wel fijn dat er geen overdreven groot buffet was waarbij veel eten verspild wordt.

The staff were cautious and kind. The location is good.

It took the facility 3days to fix the lift which was faulty . My room was at the 6th floor.

Excellent location, really lovely and helpful staff, comfy bed.
