The Casso, Raleigh, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Very clean. Amazing Front Desk staff.. allowed to check out later than normal !! Comfortable room and linens!!

Parking was fine but you could use a valet. Very Very noisy!! Traffic outside and slamming doors down the hall.

So many good restaurants, Bars, food hall, cafes.

Convenient location within walking distance to several excellent restaurants and very short drive to NC State. Eclectic design and fun decor. Validated parking for $19/day.

I had the pleasure of having a staycation at The Casso Hotel this past weekend. I encountered an amazing employee - I believe he was a houseman - by the name of Edward Hargrove. I know his name because I asked him after complimenting him. He displayed his utmost professionalism, attentiveness and overall kindness to me when I was in need of assistance and had a few questions which he was happily able to ask and provide info. This kind gentleman should certainly be rewarded for being an exemplary real life example of a great employee and representative of The Casso. I will certainly be visiting again!

Overall good, new, modern and very clean hotel. Great service across all interactions. Definitely have the Oak City theme in the rooms and common areas. Low road noise. Yes, train noise is there on limited occasions, but that noise would be across all downtown Raleigh. Lots of bars, restaurants, etc., within a 10 minute walk. Comfortable beds and pillows. No closet, but lots of hangars and a steamer for wrinkles as opposed to an iron. Large bathroom, good water pressure. Bench as opposed to a chair for the work area. Great coffee machine. Fast wifi. A/C is a bit noisy but works efficiently. Good hotel.
